MOST DEPRESSING VISUAL OF THE WEEK: Lieberman stuck to McC's side
9/27/08

Posted on 09/27/2008 5:43:57 AM PDT by Liz

As the nation shuddered upon hearing the gruesome details of Wall Street conniving and how working-class taxpayers would pay the price, John McCain temporarily suspended his campaign to go to Washington.

McC strode the halls of Congress working to out-maneuver Dodd/Pelosi/Frank/Reid.

So far so good.

Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson came up with a cockamamie bailout that he claimed would end up making money for the US Treasury. However, backroom Democrats connived to siphon off any repayment of the people’s money back to the treasury by adding one small inocuous line to the agreement----a line that would end up stealing money from any repayments and giving it to left-wing political advocacy groups like ACORN, the National Urban League and the Hispanic atrocity---La Raza. Instead of trying to help the economy, the Democrats want to loot taxpayers for their left-wing political constituents. It’s business as usual for the Democrats.

Score One for McC. McC was determined to stop the Democrat bailout.....and apparently succeeded. Most Americans opposed it. Calls to Congress were running 100-1 against bailing out Wall St.

However, of all the politicans that McC could have chosen to accompany him on his mission, pukeneo stooge Lieberman got the finger----sticking to McC's side like Superglue.

Every conservative knows Lieberman is one of the most depraved corrupters of the political system. From the getgo, Lieberman connived to get into office----and is still conniving, and undermining the US political system.

Mmmmmmm---corrupting the political system? Them's might strong words, pardner.

Strong, yes, but not if you keep in mind that while LIEberman was being touted as Repub candidate McC's top surrogate, Lieberman wrote out a $100,000 check to the Dem party so as not to lose his Dem creds.

KEEPING ONE FOOT IN EACH CAMP STRATEGY Lieberman keeps a foot in both camps so that whoever wins, he's in line for a federal job (with Joe as their stooge---this effectively gives the pukeneos even more power than they already have).

A STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE Lieberman is a calculating, deceitful conman. The Ntl Right to Life Committee still has notes circa 1988 when LIEberman ran for the Senate.

Based on an internal Lieberman poll indicating pro-life votes were there for the taking, Lieberman courted Catholics, and made pro-life promises that he had no intention of keeping. (He was then-Atty General running for pro-abort Sen Weicker's seat.)

LIEberman swore up and down he was pro-life and made many, many pro-life pledges to Connecticut pro-life leaders.

END GAME Lieberman got into the Senate----thanks to the efforts of pro-lifers and Catholic clergy who were conned by Lieberman (ol' Joe must be right proud of that con job that got him elected).

Once in office, Lieberman reverted to form, and became an unwavering abortion rights supporter, voting consistently pro-abortion, and even voting to uphold partial-birth abortion on six separate occasions.

Sen Lieberman is notorious for being on both sides of the political fence. He says one thing to make people believe he's a "moderate" when his actions show he does the exact opposite, voting consistently as a radical liberal.

EXAMPLE Lieberman and ex-Reagan Education Secy Bill Bennett used to give out "Silver Sewer Awards" to express opposition to Hollywood's salacious, sexually explicit and violent music, TV and movie output. Then when Sen Lieberman became Vice-president Gore's running mate, he went to Hollywood on bended knee, promising to strengthen Hollywood's ultra-liberal control over America, in exchange for votes and campaign financing.

EXAMPLE During Clinton's impeachment, Lieberman went on and on, railing against Bad Boy Bill---but when it came time to put his money where his mouth was---LIEberman sucked up and voted AGAINST impeachment.

The Lieberman scourge has gone on too long. LIEberman is a pukeneo stooge attached to McC to make sure McC reads from the right script and does not stray from the pukes agenda.

Remember, the core pukeneo agenda is to kick conservatives to the curb, and religiously cleanse the repub Party (as they religiosly purged the Dem Party).

Where was Fred Thompson? Where was Duncan Hunter? These are the people conservatives want to see by McC's side.

McC should ditch Lieberman now.

Other than issues relating to Iraq or Israel when has Lieberman voted with the republicans?

Depressing? Maybe, but not the MOST Depressing. Seeing Chris Dodd being interviewed without handcuffs on was worse.

Lieberman took a bold step in endorsing McCain when everyone else wrote McCain off; putting his own position in jeopardy. Loyalty like that is hard to find. He would work well in a McCain Cabinet.

.....when has Lieberman voted with the republicans?....

Excellent question.......keep in mind that while Loyal (gag) LIEberman s touted as McC's top surrogate, Lieberman wrote out a $100,000 check to the Dem party b/c he feared he would lose his Dem creds.

IT'S CALLED "KEEPING ONE FOOT IN EACH CAMP" Lieberman keeps a foot in both camps so that whoever wins, he's in line for a federal job (with Joe as their stooge---this effectively gives the nasty pukeneos even more power than they already have).

Loyal (gag) Lieberman is notorious for being on both sides of the political fence. He says one thing to make people believe he's a "moderate".......his actions show he does the exact opposite. Lieberman consistently votes radical liberal.

We can only ponder what the pukes will order LIEberman to do to undermine the US political system if McC stupidly gives this guy a federal perch from which to operate.

First of all Fred Thompson is not a senator, and of course would not be there. Secondly , Duncan Hunter is a congressman and not a senator... so he doesn’t have as much pull as a senator, and obviously was not included in this Round Table discussion. Thirdly, this was a bi-partisan event, and not a Democrat vs. Republican event.

The very fact that McCain and Lieberman were together shows a coming together of the two major parties for the good of the country.

Prolly just someone whose panties are in a bunch because their guy isn't on the ballot. All fired up to say "I told you so" when Mac goofed at the debate, and PO'ed because he didn't!

No, no, no...having Lieberman there is a silent message to the Jewish voters who are faithful to Israel.

Joe Lieberman took Sarah Palin to meet the AIPAC bigwigs and other very important people. She has gone on record stating a "heartfelt support" of Israel and told Charles Gibson that America should not second-guess Israel when it came to protecting their country. This is all talking in code to very influential people, Lady Rothschild being one of them.

No doubt Obama's comments of late that he would bomb Pakistan has got a lot of people nervous, especially those who live here and have relatives who live on that side of the world.
