Prayers for his family. I have no love for the Kennedy’s but it’s tough to lose someone. The family will be fortunate if the Dems don’t turn his funeral into another Wellstone Memorial! Barack would probably make it all about HIM.

Prayers for the entire Kennedy family. Nobody, with any kind of sense, truly wishes anything bad on the health of anyone, even if they disagree with their politics.

Watching the Dem convention, I was moved by Caroline Kennedy’s intro of Teddy. Not by what she said, but by the thought that he was the closest thing to a father figure she has. All of her immediate family is gone, and his death will be hard for the whole family. They are all in my prayers.

I have spent my whole adult life vehemently disagreeing with Ted Kennedy, but I hope the man recovers. For his family’s sake, I wish him well.

I had a strange dream last Sunday that Ted Kennedy had died. I awoke the next morning to make sure it wasn’t true. It would have been too weird.
To: timsbella
I don't wish him ill anymore than I wish any cancer patient ill. A sentiment not shared by Obama in his ads. That said I didn't wish Mary Jo Koepechne ill either. Eventually each faces their actions.

Neither do I. But if the press thinks that Obama will gain from it, they’ll look for any excuse to tune out of the debate. McCain should take care not to gush about Kennedy. Conservatives are watching.

Onassis died years ago, and Teddy is her father’s brother. He’s her closest connection to her father. I think it’s a different relationship.
Hey, I have no respect for the actions of Teddy Kennedy. I wish he would retire and focus on his health and quit messing with our lives. However, he did love his family in his own way and they will miss him. And I know that pain and it is hard. So I do feel for them.

To rise above is to pray for one's enemies. I hope he gains a saving knowledge of the Lord before passing from this life, whenever that might be.
We'll always fight his type. It's just what we do. But we never want them to die without the presence of God in their lives. To wish eternal damnation is to make a mockery of what the Lord did for us. All we really ever wanted was for them to be upright and correct. Otherwise, we would have helped them to the grave long ago.
