Worried about a lawsuit?
Now yank the entire show off the air.
They are all terrible people.
NBC knows they screwed up. The fallout is happening. Time to go for the jugular with this dispicable network.
Not really news considering NBC pulls all of their video that’s ran on other sites. If you see any of their video on other sites it’s because NBC missed it.
They would not DARE have the same skit about Obama. They would not DARE to even show Obama as a Sammy Davis Jr. wannabe who comes out to the audience with a cigarette and a drink, telling his McCain stories. Obama is untouchable to the media, yet it’s anything goes with Palin and her family.

SNL Takes the NY Times & Reporters to Task re Sarah Palin
Every other skit from last night's show appears to be available. Perhaps the NYT and old media didn't find their SNL treatment particularly humorous, and they expressed a preference that this skit be ushered into a memory hole.
Wasn’t it also pulled from NBC’s own website?
Backlash but no apology.
Is it possible to “cache” a video? Surely if so, somebody must have done it. This is positively Orwellian airbrushed and reconstructed history.
It wasn’t yanked because of the incest part, it was yanked because it made the New York Times look like a bunch of buffoons.
What are they afraid to show everyone what they are really like? I say put it back on so everyone can see what dirtbags the SNL people really are. As if any one who isn’t too drunk to find their way to the door doesn’t know already.
I saw the video, and It made was way more critical of the New York Times. If you didn’t see it, then you do not know what you are talking about.
The NY Times probably complained since they and their reporting were the target of the skit. Other “journalists” were probably also upset and you know what kind of hissy fits journalist can throw. They are so thin skinned.
NBC still wont allow the brilliant “McCain Sings Streisand” clip on YouTube, despite the Palin-slam clip posted like 50 times. Gee, I wonder why.
How about SNL doing a skit of Obama and Osama honeymooning in the Pakistani mountains...
Nah, NBC wouldn’t stoop that low.

SNL was here!!
SNL has stopped being funny and I didn't see the skit, but I read a description of it and it sounded pretty funny and it was a very rare riff on the NYTs and the drive-by media.
It's sort of like what the New Yorker cover of the Obama's was trying to do.
This was a routine that could be funny in a given context. But it’s like they had no idea that “pimping their daughter” was met with big slams by the Clintons. They had no idea that Obama had said children were out of bounds. The certainly didn’t have a clue of the pubbie attitude toward children. What’s truly astounding is the complete tone-deafness of the SNL writers.
It was embarrassingly bad to sit through and should not have made the air.
I think it is as much a dig at the NY Times making up stuff as it is about the Palins. However, this is lost in the translation because it was so horrifyingly bizarre.
Amazingly, this SNL skit was critical of NYC culture, and US journalism. I have NO IDEA why it is being misrepresented like this.
SNL is hugely liberal, and this was one of the few times they got it RIGHT.
I doubt the concern for the Palin's had anything to do with it getting pulled.
2008, the year the media finally flopped over and died. I hope the last real journalist turned off the lights.
Okay, let’s not overreact.
SNL pulls all their stuff on YouTube for copyright reasons.
I thought the rest of the skit was all directed at NYT's arrogance but using Palin and Alaska as backdrop.
Power to the People!! Good news, getting pressure for that disgusting skit.
Pray for W, McCuda and Our Troops
It’s a terrific skit, actually, satirizing the insularity of NY Times journalists who have never been off planet Manhattan. I urge everyone to find a pirate copy of it, then spread it far and wide.
The reporter named Karl Marx who needed 2 psychiatrists ... the feminazi with 2 last names that sued everyone for sexual harassment ... the self-certain know it all who knew nothing yet won a Pulitzer ... the neurotic polar bear-o-phobic ... the expert of Alaska who had spent one summer there 20 years ago ... the entire group of 50 journalists, none of which could even drive a car or had ever been outside of LA, Manhattan, and Sag Harbor ...
The skit was brilliant. It nailed the out of touch pomposity and narrow-minded groupthink of leftist “journalists”.
The attacks in the skit were not at all aimed at Palin or conservatives or Republicans. It was like a flame thrower of reality aimed at the tools of the left, and it was sharper in its critique of the left than almost anything I have seen them do towards the right.
In fact, most of the skits targeting the right come off as buffoonish attempts aimed at blatant and obvious stereotypes. This was aimed at the stereotypes of the left as well, but had a harsh truth to it. It is hard to believe it was a SNL skit.
WND is wrong. SNL skits are routinely taken off youtube due to copyright law.
If there was EVER a reason for the “fair use” doctrine, where copyrighted material can be quoted and posted for comment and debate, this is it.
