YouTube has pulled from its website a video of a "Saturday Night Live" skit featuring characters portraying New York Times reporters investigating whether Todd Palin was having sex with the couple's own daughters after NBC expressed a claim of copyright, even though a wide range of other "SNL" clips remain available.

Worried about a lawsuit?
Now yank the entire show off the air.
They are all terrible people.
NBC knows they screwed up. The fallout is happening. Time to go for the jugular with this dispicable network.
Too late!
Not really news considering NBC pulls all of their video that’s ran on other sites. If you see any of their video on other sites it’s because NBC missed it.
They would not DARE have the same skit about Obama. They would not DARE to even show Obama as a Sammy Davis Jr. wannabe who comes out to the audience with a cigarette and a drink, telling his McCain stories. Obama is untouchable to the media, yet it’s anything goes with Palin and her family.
Time for SNL to run something really funny. How about a skit with Wright, Michelle, Obama and Calypso Louis? The throw in a cameo of Jesse with a sharp knife. This could all be done in black face...
It’s NOWHERE to be found, not even on HULU, which is where SNL skits are supposed to be found. I’ve been looking for 2 days. It appears to me that NBC really wants this skit down the memory hole.

SNL Takes the NY Times & Reporters to Task re Sarah Palin
Every other skit from last night's show appears to be available. Perhaps the NYT and old media didn't find their SNL treatment particularly humorous, and they expressed a preference that this skit be ushered into a memory hole.
Wasn’t it also pulled from NBC’s own website?
Backlash but no apology.
I wrote them a letter today and told them that I was removing all NBC stations from my selections and blocking them from coming into my home.
Personally, if someone watches it and can provide a list of sponsors I would write to them and tell them the same.
I believe this is the only way to deal with these fools. In spite of a few shows I like I will fore go them in favor of other programming.
Wonder if his wife knows about this.
Dream on.
Is it possible to “cache” a video? Surely if so, somebody must have done it. This is positively Orwellian airbrushed and reconstructed history.
off sides. Lets not slide to their level.
Don’t go there.
I think he owes everybody an explanation!
We did no less with that weird guy down in Florida.
It wasn’t yanked because of the incest part, it was yanked because it made the New York Times look like a bunch of buffoons.
Exactly right. No SNL clips at ALL are on YouTube. They're always removed soon after someone posts them. No news here at all.
What are they afraid to show everyone what they are really like? I say put it back on so everyone can see what dirtbags the SNL people really are. As if any one who isn’t too drunk to find their way to the door doesn’t know already.
I saw the video, and It made was way more critical of the New York Times. If you didn’t see it, then you do not know what you are talking about.
The NY Times probably complained since they and their reporting were the target of the skit. Other “journalists” were probably also upset and you know what kind of hissy fits journalist can throw. They are so thin skinned.
NBC still wont allow the brilliant “McCain Sings Streisand” clip on YouTube, despite the Palin-slam clip posted like 50 times. Gee, I wonder why.
How about they do a skit involving the entire SNL staff where they act out a suicide cult scene, except it's for real. Now that would be their best one ever.
How about SNL doing a skit of Obama and Osama honeymooning in the Pakistani mountains...
Nah, NBC wouldn’t stoop that low.

SNL was here!!
Still inappropriate since you probably liabled his daughter since you only wrote one question and that was “if his wife knows”
Just don’t, it makes us all look bad when you go to their level.
SNL has stopped being funny and I didn't see the skit, but I read a description of it and it sounded pretty funny and it was a very rare riff on the NYTs and the drive-by media.
It's sort of like what the New Yorker cover of the Obama's was trying to do.
The only thing SNL screwed up on, regarding their audience, is their attack on the NYT, their own kind.
This was a routine that could be funny in a given context. But it’s like they had no idea that “pimping their daughter” was met with big slams by the Clintons. They had no idea that Obama had said children were out of bounds. The certainly didn’t have a clue of the pubbie attitude toward children. What’s truly astounding is the complete tone-deafness of the SNL writers.
It was embarrassingly bad to sit through and should not have made the air.
I think it is as much a dig at the NY Times making up stuff as it is about the Palins. However, this is lost in the translation because it was so horrifyingly bizarre.
you can slam the NY Times many other ways. It is one of those things that once it is out there, you can’t take it back. I keep thinking about how my daughter would feel if someone did this skit using her and her dad. It is disgusting. And yes, I just saw the clip, nothing funny about it.
I need to follow your example, and tell those jerks to take that awful show off the air.
Amazingly, this SNL skit was critical of NYC culture, and US journalism. I have NO IDEA why it is being misrepresented like this.
SNL is hugely liberal, and this was one of the few times they got it RIGHT.
I doubt the concern for the Palin's had anything to do with it getting pulled.
The scene from Roadhouse where Patrick Swayze gouged out the bad guy’s throat comes to mind here. Would that it were. Would that it were.
You can criticize the NY Times and not include an innocent family. If you want to do a skit about them making something up, make it something outlandish. This was just an opportunity for SNL to get a dig in to the Palins.
2008, the year the media finally flopped over and died. I hope the last real journalist turned off the lights.
Okay, let’s not overreact.
SNL pulls all their stuff on YouTube for copyright reasons.
I thought the rest of the skit was all directed at NYT's arrogance but using Palin and Alaska as backdrop.
The man is sick. No one should be defending him. We have to get to the bottom of this even if some of his campaign assistants have to be dragged out into the public square and interrogated at length.
Power to the People!! Good news, getting pressure for that disgusting skit.
Pray for W, McCuda and Our Troops
exactly, there has been plenty of things that they could have done skits on that would not be flattering to Obama, and nada. There wouldn’t be such outcry if they had used some other subject, her hunting or something, but to throw out there incest was deliberate and cruel.
Speaking of Rachael Ray, I was browsing one of the PUMA sites, and discovered that McCain and Mrs. McCain were on Rachael Ray's show (maybe today?), and McCain was grilling ribs. The PUMA site posted a clip of the show, and, although I'm not a fan of McCain, he was charming. Rachael gave him a "Kiss the Candidate" apron, Mrs. McCain put it on him, and gave him a kiss, and the audience went wild. He prepared and cooked baby-back ribs, Mrs. McCain said they bought their ribs at Costco, and, again, crowd went wild. Very nice, relaxed, friendly, easy-going segment, with a nice audience - Rachael's a Class A personality type, and McCain didn't let her get a word in edgewise.
I quit watching Ray when I realized what a liberal dem she was.

Is Ted Danson available?
