SNL is so not funny. It’s all in bad taste. I’ve made a promise this year not to watch anything on NBC or MSNBC (including their Fall line-up). The only exeption I make is for Kudlow on CNBC.

He wasn't funny then either. I am proud to say that I always despised franken, even in the late 70's.

SNL used to have all those funny Canadian guys, and lots of good intrinsically funny homegrown talent like Chris Farley. Today it’s just a bunch of snotty drama-club types who think they are smarter than everyone else. It’s all hate-the-right-wingers dark satire instead of funny sendups.
Some of them (Jim Breuer comes to mind) can’t even keep a straight face while acting!
