Not really as interesting as predictable. Plus he is a lock and the seat is his for as long as he wants and he is a potential Presidential candidate so betting hard on him now should pay off great odds for the foreseeable future. He is very Clintonesque in that he can talk centrist and even center-right even as he votes and offers legislation that is clearly leftist.

"He is one creepy looking guy."

They didn't nickname him "Horse Face" for nothing.

Yep. He has the old talk right - vote left thing down pat.

He will team up well with Jim Webb. Webb ran as a centrist (or center-right), got elected and then proceeded to vote completely left for the past two years. Never once 'crossed the aisle' or voted 'bi-partisan' but voted as Harry Reid told him to vote.

Warner will be the same way... No tax cuts, no spending cuts, no cutting back the size of government and last but not least: NO TORT REFORM from this guy. Big socialist government will be his agenda.
