Poll: White Democrats’ Racism Could Cost Obama White House
The Moderate Voice ^ | sept 20,2008 | JOE GANDELMAN

A new AP-Yahoo News poll finds that white Democrats’ resistance to voting for a black man for President could cost Democratic Presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama the White House: Deep-seated racial misgivings could cost Barack Obama the White House if the election is close, according to an AP-Yahoo News poll that found one-third of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks — many calling them “lazy,” “violent” or responsible for their own troubles. The poll, conducted with Stanford University, suggests that the percentage of voters who may turn away from Obama because of his race could easily be larger than the final difference between the candidates in 2004 — about two and one-half percentage points.

As long as this communist is being kept out of the white house, I don’t care about what the real intention of voters.

If the MSM wants to label us as racists, so be it! as long as he losees, I don’t care.

It’s not like whites have not given any chance to these black Rats politicians. Voters elected them in VA, MA as governors... The end result: dismal failure.

The goal is to intimidate America into voting for 0bama or face the consequences

This sort of thing is the ultimate goal of the saul alinsky school of comunity organization - if you can't get what you want peacefully - then get it violently. Be assured - No Obammy = RIOTS...

Time to stock up on ammo...

No mention on how White Guilt, Sexism and Ageism have propelled Obama to where he already is to begin with.

Wow. If you go to MichaelWarns.com, on the signs in your picture, it mainly refers you to http://www.michaeldefeatssatan.com/ and that site is crackers.

I’m beginning to think it is a setup on Obamas part. I mean calling Obama and Oprah The antichrist ( 666 ) and devil respectively and claiming 33% of black women are Lilith etc.

Then it goes on to claim that “Women Took Over America” and stuff. That rant includes the following gem :

“When America gave women the right to vote. How? Because they out number men 40 to 1, women have the voting power in
numbers, the majority.”

So this is either an Obama setup or its more of Rev Jeremiah Wright’s followers in Leauge with Calypso Louis Farrakhan.

Unreal.

Obama is trying the Charles Manson technique to win the presidency. HELTER SKELTER!

Well, Ayer’s wife, Bernadette Dorn has been quoted saying that she admired what the Manson family did.

I don’t care whether a candidate is black, white, yellow, mixed, man or woman. Just give me a candidate who is conservative and has the smarts and talent to talk to the American people about core values, conservative economics and energize them that America is great, not without some problems, but with the greatest, smartest, workforce in the world.

I think that there are a lot of white people that are just getting tired of having the black cause pushed on us. The entertainment and news industries constantly pound on that theme. And then we see blacks get excused just because they are black, such as: william jefferson, jessey jackson, charles rangle, oj simpson, and many less known names, i can name three locals where I live.

This is about pushing more “anti-racism” programs.

Read quota endorsed racism programs.

It does not matter how much the voting or the net result of the election. Racebaiters are going to demand a whole slew of racism based programs.

This is jessie jackson shakedown politics.

this is the fraudulent story that created the foundation for creating a class of mortgages based on skin color rather than ability to pay.

I have misgivings about obama belonging to a racist organization for 20 years,

but I think the article wants to highlight white bigots, like the ones who went after Sec. Rice

I imagine that once these evil people are dealt with they will go after rev.wrights flock of bigots

one group of bigots at a time

I’ll just sit here and wait for these crusaders to get around to that particular evil

... crickets chirping ...

Cynthia McKinney is running for President with the Green Party.

And Cynthia McKinney is a TRUE American African American Black. She's not the product of some Kenyan randy who impregnates a young starry eyed white liberal teenager.

Truth be told, Barack Obama Senior could have been charged with rape. At least here in Georgia.

I haven’t heard too much about Palin’s effect on Southern voters. Pro-life, NRA, conservative bodes well.

Of course there are some who would not vote for a woman regardless....my mother and my sister come to mind. I shake my head. We are not toothless, barefoot, ignorant rednecks.. Just an average family who are conservative Republicans..

Cynthia McKinney is a joke. (Not a newsflash, I know) I do not pay much attention to her, but I can only hope her metro Atlanta followers will mark her name on the ballot.

I have to admit, I haven’t seen much in the way of pro-Obama activity.

95% of African Americans are NOT voting against McCain. There are AT LEAST 20% Black Conservatives in the USofA who will be voting FOR McCain. And that may be a higher percentage if we include Moderate Black Democrats who will vote for McCain, too.

Don’t forget, MLK was a Republican. There are a lot more Black Republicans who don’t get into the limelight because they don’t want the hassle from Democrats. There are more Clarence Thomas’ out among the public than we know of, waiting to vote for conservative values over socialism. They saw what the Demos did to Justice Thomas and they don’t want similar treatment, so they just bide their time until they pull that curtian on the voting booth and for a few moments in time feel FREE of pressure from Blacks to conform.

True Black Men and Women are much like our own TrueBlackMan!

I opine that the landslide will show up in a few of the Blue States where the majority of voters are black and just waiting for their chance to be free to vote their own consciences.

I’m voting against him precisely because he is black; by that I mean that every conscious effort and every planned move he has taken in his personal education, choices of acquaintenances, mentors, supporters and now even his campaign direction are all hinged upon the half-supported floor of a trapdoor of his own making - namely that he has gone about eliminating virtually any trace of his white heritage, as though he were a leper madly washing himself with rough brushes in the healing waters of Lourdes.

I took this poll. It was run by Knowledge Networks out of California, an online polling company.

The way the statements you were to respond to were worded, and the fact that the options for responding to the statements were limited to something like "Very strongly agree," "Somewhat agree," "Neutral" (or "No opinion"--I wish I could remember the exact wording), "Somewhat disagree," and "Very strongly disagree," no doubt helped AP/Yahoo come up with the results they desired.

NOWHERE in this extensive poll was there a place to indicate something like "It depends on the person" or "What the heck kind of a question/statement is that?" (Though I did type in a comment along those lines at the end of the poll.)

What do you do when you think that, yes, some blacks, just like some other people, are largely responsible for their own troubles? If you realize you're being polled by AP/Yahoo and they'll use any "negative" result to bolster their biases, you answer as neutrally as the canned answers you're supplied with will allow.

If you're some Democrats, apparently, you in all innocence say you "Somewhat agree" that blacks (like others) are often largely responsible for their own problems. It's common sense and, for most people, not in the least bit racist in intent.

By the way, the poll didn't question blacks about their attitudes toward whites, Hispanics, or Asians. I'm waiting for that poll.

I want someone who I can trust , trust with America's future, Trust with America's troops, Trust with caring for the American people first, and that is just not anywhere near What Barack Hussein Obama represents to me. I would not vote for Obama.. simply because I do not want a President Hussein who was raised in a Moslem school in Thailand in the Oval office, and that does not even touch where Obama stands on the other issues. If that is racist to Obama .. SO BE IT! I DON'T CARE!

Obama and his ilk are racist, sexist, and anti American, they do not like Me, they do not like Sarah Palin, they do not like John McCain, they do not Like America, they do not like to wear the American flag, they do not like my moderate conservative values, they don't care for the unborn, or the covenants of marriage between a man and a woman.

It is true that Obama will lose because of his extreme liberal views, but the MSM and Press will interpret that as being racist. This election will go a long way towards creating an even bigger racial divide.
