Everyone who visits a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort theme park on their birthday in 2009 can get in free, as Disney Parks embraces a newly identified family-travel trend called "celebration vacations."

Disney is NOT what it use to be from when I was a kid.
the last time I went to Disneyland, there was a family of about 8 people, and they all had birthday buttons on (and could get free stuff). From the dad to the kids, they were all born on the same day (what are the odds?) So I hope they police this giveaway a little better. Photo id’s— good luck with that, senor.
And second, even though disney tries to put a happy-time spin on everything— “We’re giving away our product for free!!!!!”— giving away things for free is never a good sign for a business.
Actually the birthday buttons don’t really get you much free stuff, to my knowledge (and I’m kind of a Disneyland “expert”).
They lied just to get the buttons I think.
I like this new promotion, as one of my children and I have birthdays 1 day apart; we could go to Disneyland for those two days in a row and save something like $120.
It’s similar to their occasional “kids play free” promotions they have during the slow(er) seasons. Disneyland has been packed for the past few years until this summer, when the somewhat slowing economy and gas prices finally hit.
If you and your same sex partner go on “Gay Day” you can get in free with a marriage certificate.
