Under the plea deal, Chocoj will receive up to 15 years in prison when he is sentenced Dec. 5 and must serve at least 85 percent of the term before parole. As an undocumented immigrant, he faces deportation upon his release. If he is not deported, he must register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law. Sergio Ramon Estrada, a teenager whom police say was the lookout man, has pleaded guilty to a charge of aiding another in causing injury and leaving the scene of the crime. Estrada, who has been in jail since his arrest about a year ago, will be sentenced on Friday and is likely to receive time served. As an undocumented immigrant, he faces deportation upon the completion of his jail term.

He is not “undocumented”, he is ILLEGAL...on many levels, and he BETTER be deported...why would there be any doubt? It would be fabulous if these miscreants could be guaranteed to serve their sentences in a Mexican prison, or whatever rathole country they’re from! Why should Americans foot the bill?

I’ll bet he could be kept under lock and key in Haiti for about $1 per day — and if we moved enough of these illegal alien criminals to off shore prisons — then the prospect of “three hots and a cot” wouldn’t be as attractive a consequences for committing crimes here.

In a little known federal law, Selective Service requires even *illegal* aliens in the U.S. to register, or face $250,000 in fines and multiple years in *federal* prison, with mandatory minimums.
So if you live near the jurisdiction of this crime, be sure to write the local prosecutor to inform her of this violation (since almost no illegals actually register with SS).
And for those of you who *don’t* write about this to the prosecutor, shut the ef up about who is responsible for illegal immigration...because it’s you and people like you who won’t take the time to mail a single email to a prosecutor. Those of you who won’t write the prosecutor are just internet blowhards without a care for our country.
