When I was in my twenties I was constantly "trying to get in touch with my higher self". Now yes that was in most of the good and bad ways you can imagine depending which side of my twenties I was on. The pendulum would swing to both extremes. It took me years to realize the real me is right in the middle without all the psycho babble hippie nonsense. These people need to realize your self is selfishness. Want to help yourself and help the world. Work hard, raise a family, love your country and stop thinking about yourself.

You are spot on. My in-laws had me do the EST training when I was in my 20’s. I never did ‘get it.’ All I took from it was you are as good as your word. I already knew that. What a waste of good money.

Eventhough the Prophet Samuel was instructed to anoint a new king, Samuel went with his human instincts at first when he went to Jesse's house, but, the Lord had to correct him.

Perhaps God directed John McCain wittingly and unknowingly to pick Sarah Palin.

Before Fox came into my life, I bought a book by this guy after some blonde bimbo morning anchor recommended it......OMG, I had to quit morning TV.....it was all too stupid for words. It was like listening to one of Obama’s speeches waiting for him to get to the point. I tossed that book many, many years ago and never looked at another one.
