This much is certain: On Friday, a vendor at Invesco Field in Denver discovered dozens of trash bags full of small U.S. flags (about 12,000 in all) that Democrats bought for the crowd at Barack Obama's acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention. The bags were found among the tons of garbage from "the greenest convention in history." Before they could be buried in a landfill, the vendor collected the flags and turned them over to Sen. John McCain's campaign, which distributed them at a rally in Colorado Springs.
The rest of the story is open to interpretation, aka spin, hence the Democrats' claim McCain supporters stole the flags: "We have the utmost respect for the American flag, and it's sad to see them being used for a cheap political stunt."
The Democrats' version of events might have been plausible if not for Sen. Obama's checkered record on respect for Old Glory. Recall he refused to wear a flag lapel pin because it has become a substitute for "true patriotism"; does not put his hand over his heart during the playing of "The Star-Spangled Banner"; and had the image of the U.S. flag removed from the tail of his campaign plane. In addition, credentials that admitted journalists to his acceptance speech showed the U.S. flag flying upside down. Meanwhile, the Obama campaign office in Houston flew two Cuban flags, superimposed with the image of Marxist murderer Ernesto "Che" Guevara.
So when the vendor, who has no dog in the fight, told The Denver Post the U.S. flags would have ended up in a landfill had he not rescued them — "The flags were there for a week and a day and no one came looking for them" — Sen. Obama has no one but himself if his patriotism and respect for Old Glory is called into question. Justifiably. Again.

With less than two months to go, there is still time for NObama to let some sadistic thugs truss up his arms behind his back, raise off the floor and whack him for days and nights with leather straps.
Then he can compare himself to a patriotic American.
Only problem with that is he will not get it as John McCain did. Obama will run crying to his masses ...whining...Heyyyyyy they beat me up and are picking on me...RACISTS.
Add to this the fact that Michelle couldn't be bothered to attend because of some lame-ass excuse regarding their daughters & school.
Make no mistake about it...the Obamas HATE this country but LOVE the power of Affirmative Action. Ears will do nothing to preserve America and everything to let it wither away. They are both scumbags of the lowest (not highest) order.
Right on! And there were two pictures from Invesco - one of Obama’s daughter & another of Joe Biden - with their flags sitting on the floor, propped against their chairs. That’s the respect they have for the flag!
