EXCERPT Senator Obama did the safe and boring thing. He tapped Joe Biden for his running mate......all agree that what Obama has ended up with is a man who amplifies many of Obama’s weaknesses and illuminates others in an unflattering way. The Wall Street Journal called Biden “Obama’s Cheney” – which reminds Obama’s prospective supporters of a weak president with a grown-up vice president.
Biden shares some of Obama’s weaknesses – vanity, a love of his own voice, a tendency to indulge in the kind of petty political corruption that he denounces in others. .....to some, Biden’s intellectual mediocrity will only underline Obama's brilliance.........
But think about what Obama could have had in a running mate.......instead of scene-stealer Biden, Obama could have had Lieberman---- a man who has strong national security credentials, AND gray hair who is happy to remain a step behind the spotlight. Instead of Biden whose own run for the presidency produced virtually no delegates and very feeble name recognition.....
If Obama wanted to balance his weaknesses----shouldn’t he have picked Joe Lieberman?

EXAMPLE While whining and hanging onto McCain, and squatting in the Repub party, Lieberman wrote a $100,000 check to Democrats in order to keep his Dem bona fides.
EXAMPLE During the Clinton impeachment proceedings, Lieberman whined about Bad Boy Bill---but when push came to shove, he refused to vote to impeach Clinton (to say nothing of advancing conviction, or resignation).
EXAMPLE When Lieberman ran for office against pro-abortion incumbent Weicker, ol' Joe swore he was prolife (an internal poll told him thousands of pro-life votes were there for the taking ). Once in office, Lieberman showed his true colors, and became an avid abortion worshipper---and voted to advance partial birth abortion (read infanticide) on SIX separate occasions.
EXAMPLE Lieberman is touted as strong on national security----however, Lieberman voted AGAINST protecting US military personnel from International Criminal Court prosecutions.
No telling what this two-faced guy would do if given even a modicum of federal power.

How Obama could have had Lieberman when he spoke at the Repulbican convention is beyond me. Lieberman isn’t some liberal who has gone conservative, but when it comes to national security, he gets it, unlike the rest of his traiterous lot.
Lieberman is under pressure to advance amnesty by his pukeneo buddies---these types are cheerleaders for amnesty. (They co-opted Bush into the amnesty atrocity.)
Keep in mind----while acting as McC's surrogate, Lieberman wrote out a check for $100,00 to the Democrat party to keep his Dem bona fides while squatting in OUR party.
The pukes and their stooge Lieberman are undermining our political system. Like political whores who'll bed down anyone for a price, the pukes keep a foot in each political bed so that whoever wins, their enormous power over US public policy is enhanced.
