Barry may may “jumped the shark” but none of the critics, so far, have been able to swim past Gov Palin without getting bit by their own foolishness.
Someone ought talk to Laura Ingraham and Brit Hume. They don’t think it was intentional. This pic at the DNC website proves it was. I agree it should not be overplayed, but some sort of a measured response is the thing to do.
So, this is all a big ado about an old saw, right?
So, if McCain were to criticize Obama’s lockstep Dem party voting with the term “calling a spade a spade”, no one on the Dem side would cry racism, right?

I still like Kathryn Lopez’ of NR suggestion: Next rally, Palin goes to the mic. Pulls out out a tube of lipstick. Applies some. Leans into the mike, get’s a mischievous grin and says: “I said ‘pitbull’ senator Obama, not ‘pig.’”
