I assume John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential partner in a fit of pique because the Republican money men refused to let him have the stuffed male shirt he really wanted. She added nothing to the ticket that the Republicans didn't already have sewn up, the white trash vote, the demographic that sullies America's name inside and outside its borders yet has such a curious appeal for the right.
So why do it?
It's possible that Republican men, sexual inadequates that they are, really believe that women will vote for a woman just because she's a woman. They're unfamiliar with our true natures. Do they think vaginas call out to each other in the jungle night?

I read probably 2/3 of it, enough to get the jist. The jist of it is that she doesn’t like us. She doesn’t think any of us have anything to add to the public discourse. The biggest problem with the Republican Party is that we’re in it; the biggest problem with the US is that people like us live there.

Some people are born stupid; others work at it every single day of their life, as if to perfect some lofty ideal.
If this were satire, it could be funny, on some level. But it is, rather, a deranged mind hacking away at a word processor. It has no future other than hatred. Perhaps, if this sexually-challenged person would devote herself to something constructive, like coming up with a more pleasant color than red or blue for hockey rink lines, the anger and cynicism might abate.

Wowser, so the CBC thinks I’m white trash. I wouldn’t read the rest of it. It’s a piece of trash and journalistically inadequate. To think I used to listen to that broadcasting station. Ugh. Even our ultra-liberal PBS wouldn’t be that brazen. They have comment boards, don’t know how much trash talk/profanity they allow there.

Some of these attacks are getting so over-the-top, it makes the more conspiracy-minded among us think that these attackers are really just ‘Lousy FReeper Trolls’, plotting to stampede people to Palin’s defense. These people are loopy!
Who would think to look at this attractive, educated woman that she could be capable of such vitriol and poor breeding? Nothing that a little “finishing” could have prevented. Nothing at all.

This is actually quite funny. So over the top that it is very much a parody of the unreality that passes for wisdom on the left.
We have nearly two months more of this stuff coming at us. I am almost expecting various moonbats to engage in self-immolation in protest of the coming defeat.
