In an interview published Sunday with the German mag Der Spiegel, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said he didn't miss going to the GOP national convention because it lacked "bipartisanship."
He compared the "hard core" who run the national party to California's GOP leaders: "I have almost no contact with them none. Because they're just so out there."
That should help round up those GOP votes for his budget proposal

Right. Some of them are actually (GASP!) conservatives.
Besides, Schwarzenegger is voting for Obama with his wife.

Why would bipartisanship appear at a party convention? Where was there bipartisanship at the Dem convention? Biden? Clintons? Carter? All leftists.

Getting ready to sign a recall petition right about now.
Lacked Bipartisanship? What more could they have done up there besides saying that McCain was going to join the Democrat party? Did Arnie miss the part with Joe Lieberman, and McCain congratulating Obama?
Maybe tough-as-nails Gov. Palin reminds Arnie of the times Maria has brow beaten him. While he’s all bluster and talk, she’s the real deal.

We got suckered with his Hollywood acting and are now as Republicans experiencing the results.
God save Kalifornia because the Democrats and Arnold won't.

A lack of bi-partisanship? He told the American press he didn’t go because he needed to stay in California to work on the budget. Which is it Arnold? What girlyman he’s turned out to be in a few short years of politics.

I think you’re right, our woman, Sarah Palin, shames him, shames all RINOs. They feel inadequate and well they should. She’s reenergized me (and shamed me too!) into getting back to what’s important, to STAND UP (again) for those beliefs instead of acquiescing to these hollow people. Thank you Sarah!!

Hey Arnold,
Why don't you just switch parties and be done with it. Then it will leave the gates wide open for Tom McClintock.
That's it Arnold, the Republicans are just too "out there". Time for you to come out of the closet. Tell everyone you are a DemocRAT.

He was originally on the speakers list so I would say, Yes.
It’s a combo of budget delay and McCain not needing another star there (besides Sarah and FRed) to take away from his golden moment on the stage. Post-partisan was the theme too, bummer. ;-)

SPIEGEL: Could you imagine becoming a cabinet member in a McCain or in an Obama administration?
Schwarzenegger: Yes I could imagine that, but the only thing I cannot imagine is leaving Sacramento and leaving it to someone who would replace me. I have a plan of what I want to accomplish by the time Im finished and that to me is more important — fulfilling that dream and that promise — than taking on any position in Washington.

LOL! Good one!
I think Arnold is very jealous of Palin being described as “the most popular governor,” and “successful” (budget surplus!) to boot!
His comments in the interview are kind of telling—about how many people were watching her speech. With Arnold, it’s all about the show.
What a girlyman!
