“Enlightened voters”? I’m sure every Democrat out there is familiar with the works of Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz, Voltaire, Diderot, Franklin, Condorcet, Burke, Berkeley, Hobbes, Locke, Kant, and Hume. So am I, and I do not shudder at the spectre of Palin.
