Did Barry misspeak when he talked about his faith on This Week With George Stephanopoulos?
Stooge ..... Muslim...never baptized..... connect the dots
Misspeak? Hardly. Our little cowardly, closet Muzzie finally told the truth FOR ONCE.
Did you get a load of that John Deere looking background? What a load.....haystacks and barn farm equipment.....
George Snuffoluffus “corrected” Obama to his publicly claimed faith.
Classic Freudian slip.
I have never met one person, who calls himself a Christian, that will say that the Hindu “Monkey god” is his favorite god, and who carries one in his pocket.
A hay wagon in the background. Obama should have worn overalls and a straw hat to fit the scene. *snicker*
LOL
Good point. You have to create the image of apple pies, BBQ.....
Hell, before it’s all done, Obama might even wear a flag pin. I just hope he picks the right one!
Barry is prolly reaching for a pack of fags ‘bout now.
Someone needs to copy this before You Tube takes it down.
Wow! what a slip by Obama. How do you spin you way away from this? I guess that I need to see the rest of the interview but this is troubling.
ping ping ping.
People need to see this! This by itself is meaningless, but in context of his upbringing, the declared faith on official documents as a child, his dad, his relationships with certain people...... In context of the bigger picture this does say something.
After Obama has repeated countless times that McCain plans to stay in Iraq for 100 years, Obama deserves all the problems that this video clip can cause him.
I just went there and message says no longer available.
The Hindu monkey god Hanuman and his followers aren't trying to take over the world but the people of the fake god allah are
That's the beauty of being Barry Obama. He doesn't need to spin this away. He's got Snuffy Stephanopolous and the rest of the paleo-media in the dugout just itching to charge the field on his behalf.
At least former ABC reporter Linda Douglass had the gumption to make the jump from "objective" reporter to campaign strategist official.
Still says no longer available
People need to be careful not to take this out of context, which is exactly what this short clip does. It makes us look bad. Ive just watched it a couple of times. Heres the transcript as best as I can get it:
Stephanopolous: You mentioned your Christian faith. Yesterday you took off after the Republicans for suggesting your Muslim connections. Just a few minutes ago Rick Davis, um, John McCains campaing manager, said theyve never done that. This is a false and cynical attempt to play victim.
Obama: You know what? Uh, uh, I mean, these guys love to throw a rock and uh, hide their hand.
Stephanopolous: The McCain campaign has never suggested you have Muslim connections.
Obama: No, no, no, but, but, the, uh, I dont think that, when, you look at what is being promulgated on Fox News, lets say, and Republican commentators who are closely allied to these folks...
Stephanopolous: But John McCain said thats wrong.
Obama: But, well, look, listen, you and I both know that the minute that Governor Palin was uh, was forced to talk about her daughter, I immediately said thats off limits, and, and, and, and...
Stephanopolous: John McCain said the same thing about questioning your faith.
Obama: And what was the first thing the McCain campaign went out and did? They, they said uh, look, uh, these liberal blogs that support Obama are out there attacking Governor Palin. Lets not play games. Uh, what I was suggesting...youre absolutely right that John McCain has not uh, talked about my Muslim faith, and youre absolutely right that that has not come...
Stephanopolous: Christian faith.
Obama: My Christian faith...and, well, what Im saying is he hasnt suggested that Im a Muslim, and I think that uh, his uh, his campaign uh, upper echelons have not either. What I think is fair to say is that uh, coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps Im not uh, who I say I am when it comes to my faith, something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time.
As Raymond’s father would say, “Holy Crap”!
How are they going to correct that MAJOR slip of the tongue? George just compounded it by correcting him, gotta live it! This needs to make the rounds BIG TIME!
Bless you
Somebody better save it or you tube will take it down too!
I totally agree. This is more another example of an Obama gaffe as opposed to an admission of his true faith. The questions leading up to this statement were aimed at people indicating that he was a Muslim and he was trying to dispel the rumor. The short clip is definitely out of context!
Another flip flop! Well, actually he is not Christian or Muslim, he is the Messiah. And watch him say it to! Perhaps something like: “Christians and Muslims know me very well, I’m the Messiah...er, man that will...”
A gaffe. Now, when Obama tries to throw anyone on the defensive who reminds the public of his Islamic heritage, he’ll get to listen to this. Weren’t these the same people squawking about McCain saying Iran when he should have said Iraq?
I think he misspoke. I think he also misspoke on the 57 states. He gets his mouth going before his brain is fully engaged. It seems like he is calculating everyword for it's benefit and liability. Maybe he had a little too much 'blow' early on. Or maybe he very unsure of himself. He obviously can't think very well on his feet. I'm sure Putin and Ahmadinejad have noted this with pleasure.
What has my country come to when this goat-herding moon-god worshiping terrorist-sympathizing American-hating nullity is nominated by a major political party for the highest office in the land, and people take him seriously?
I find the props to be appropriate! Nail that muzzy to the barn door.
Be “careful”? Be “careful” my pasty white ass! Send it all over the damn place, high and low.....out of context or not! Those sleazy, scummy libtards would have it broadcasting on the networks had the shoe been on the other foot! Screw ‘em!
How do you know that Obama was never baptized? Just curious.
Keep the faith, my brother. He’s going down the tubes, keep the faith. I know I am!
I’ve never seen so many “uhs,” “and, and, ands,” and “I means” in one place in my life.
What was it that Time or whoever said? He’s so smart that he is talking over the electorate’s head a lot of the time?
Point taken.
I saw the interview and he said “my muslim faith”, in context out of context that was his words until he was corrected
Nothing for Obama to worry about. McCain won’t use it, and the MSM will bury it.
Yes, but if it was a Republican who said that the MSM would run it 24 hours a day from now until Nov 23rd and you know it.
As I posted in an earlier thread these slips of his are so common that there has to be some basis in fact. Have you ever accidently slipped that you were a muzzie?
bump
He obviously just misspoke. I wouldn’t be surprised if he did so on purpose just so the media can come to his defense....”see those wackos on the right still believe he is a Muslim”.
We’ve got to quit with the Muslim stuff. There is so much stuff on this guy (Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright etc.) that this just marginalizes everything else.
All I can say is I have never uttered the words “my Muslim faith”, and don’t see how I ever could.
It did cross my mind that he misspoke on purpose to garner sympathy, but I do not think that's going to work too well for him again.

Notice his body language. He looks down and off to the side, avoiding eye contact with George until he regains his composure. This is an indicator of the speaker trying to hide something.
In his autobiography, "Dreams From My Father," Obama mentions studying the Quran and describes the public school as "a Muslim school."
During the time that he was in Indonesia, young Barry Soetoro, being a Muslim, would have been required to study Islam daily in school. He would have been taught to read and write Arabic, to recite his prayers properly, to read and recite from the Quran and to study the laws of Islam.
However, Obama received additional training. As the principal from 1971 through 1989 remembers, Obama had studied "mengaji."
Our guy in Jakarta writes: "The actual usage of the word 'mengaji' in Indonesian and Malaysian societies means the study of learning to recite the Quran in the Arabic language rather than the native tongue. "Mengagi" is a word and a term that is accorded the highest value and status in the mindset of fundamentalist societies here in Southeast Asia. To put it quite simply, 'mengaji classes' are not something that a non practicing or so-called moderate Muslim family would ever send their child to. To put this in a Christian context, this is something above and beyond simply enrolling your child in Sunday school classes."
"The fact that Obama had attended mengaji classes is well known in Indonesia and has left many there wondering just when Obama is going to come out of the closet."
My honest feeling is that Obama is not a Muslim, but an atheist. That is what his mother was. And his father and stepfather were by no means religious.
How could you get proof if someone has been baptized or not?
Well he didn’t have a teleprompter feeding the words he’s supposed to repeat. What do you expect. He’s probably asking for a teleprompter for the debates along with the questions in advance so his staff can prepare the answers that they can feed to the teleprompter.
Only Muslims go to Koran classes. Let me know if you can find some Christians who want to memorize the Koran
Obama was a Muslim from 6-10 years old and may have been born Muslim via his father. That might be on his birth certificate. What he is now is another matter. I think he’s something hazy between Christian Muslim and atheist.
Muslims around the world want Obama to be elected. They know he took Koran classes
A baptismal certificate or a church to confirm Obama has been baptized. The burden is on him to prove it. Until he does I will accuse him of not being baptized
Remember --- His campaign has been asked about his baptism but no answer
to me , a baptismal certificate from Trinity Church of Christ would mean nothing.
I do not consider that to be a Christian Church, but that is my opinion.
