Another thing is, who actually thinks FNC is “conservative?” Not real conservatives. O’ Reilly, Colmes, Greta, Shepherd Smith—none are conservatives.

Ah yes, Sally Quinn - a woman of the common folk - NOT.

This woman is one of the biggest A-list party throwers in DC. She considers herself and her retired Wash Post editor, Ben Bradlee as damn near royalty. I suspect she has nightmares about McCain/Palin being elected because those two true Americans would likely not be seen at one of her shindigs.

Sally Quinn is a prima facie example of what is wrong in Washington.

“I need to know as a citizen—will she put her country or children first. You can’t do it all.”—whined Sally.

Sarah is PROUD that her first born is going to Iraq...answers Sally's fears!

She referred to Mitt as "George Romney"...telling her age!

I'd rather go to the dentist than rub elbows with these so-called "A-list" elitists. To think that there are people who would jump through hoops to get an invitation to one of her soirees is mind boggling.

We learned our lesson going to NH from DC on 95-touted as shortest route. Had a 45 min. wait to cross George Washington bridge. It may be the shortest route, as we were told, but traffic is unreal.Never again!

Also will drive 200 miles out of our way to avoid the Atlanta loop.

Incidentally, we ain't buying Sally. She is an itch with a B.

I think the biggest threat to the left is a woman who CAN raise her family, run for high office, and dress a moose.

I wonder what Todd Palin thinks about this. The man has committed his life to being the stay-at-home dad, and yet these people act as though he doesn’t exist.

Speaking of Greta, she's doing an hour-long special on Sarah this weekend—Saturday and Sunday night at 8 p.m.

“could it just be possible that McCain can’t even put his arms behind himself due to his war time toucher??? “

Indeed. McCain can’t even salute the flag he fought under, all because of his war injuries.

I so sick of these self-serving a$$hats.

“I need to know as a citizen—will she put her country or children first. You can’t do it all.”—whined Sally.

Sally Quinn didn't know my mom.

My mother was alone most of the time from 1941 to 1952, during and after WWII, while my father served in the Air Force with assignments in Europe, as well as in Germany and Japan after the war, and with assignments on U.S. bases where my dad could not take his family because there was no family housing (for us) and off-base housing near dad's assignments were often financially out of reach. When my mom did briefly have dad at home for a while, or when he could live with his family, the family grew.

They had their first six children in the years from 1941 to 1948. My dad was not even home when I was born in 1948 (Japan) and I was two years old before I saw him; which was only briefly because mom and we children could not go with him to his U.S. base assignment.

For the four years from 1948 to 1952 it was, again, mostly just mom and us - her six oldest, all of whom were either in primary school or not even that old yet. But, she painted the entire inside and outside of our house; took in sewing and laundry work; grew for us and for sale her own vegetables; took us to church regularly; attended the PTA and various church committees; drove her little family at least once a month (in her little one-seater 1938 Chevy coup) 100 miles round-trip to her mom's house; repaired the roof after a storm brought the big oak tree into the attic; regrew her hair after the old coal furnace acted up and shot flames out the furnace door she opened to check why the house seemed cold; helped her mom bury her dad; frequently played the piano and sang for us - AND ALL THE WHILE WE SIX KIDS HAD NO IDEA WE WERE "POOR" OR THAT MOM'S BURDENS WERE TOO MUCH!!!!!

Would it have been easier, if she had not had six kids during that time? Sure. (In later years mom and dad told me they often "tried" not to, but never had any regrets, regardless).

My point is that when you have a "wonder woman" mom, as my mom was and as Sarah Palin seems to be, you don't grow up feeling "neglected" no matter what are the family finances or your mom's "obligations". They are made of stock that the "feminists" will never be; a stock the feminists attempt to artificially create by negating the wonderful, value and ethics driven contribution the "feminine" gender brings to the family IN THE FAMILY AND THE HOME. Western civilization was built, THROUGH STRUGGLES, and often those struggles involved war; and as the men left and while they were gone and if they never made it back, where did the children (in the worst of times) learn of the values they had to hang on to - FROM MOM, BECAUSE SHE WAS THERE, and because with or without her man, her family WOULD NOT BE NEGLECTED.

They were the real "feminists" showing the real strength of their "gender", and from colonial days to the "pioneering" days as the nation moved west, through the tests of wars, famines, pestilence and natural disasters, they have always been a big part of the backbone of this country.

If all our moms and grand-moms had been made like Sally Quinn, we may not even be a nation today.

Someone should email him and tell them that would be like telling Dole to take his hand out of his pocket.

That is for damn sure. McCain must deal with pain all day as best he can. Who cares how he holds his hands.

Did you notice she said “she will be a formidable OPPONENT” not candidate. I wonder whose team she is on.

He also had the woman on doing the body language segment that said McCain should stop standing in the fig leaf pose and put his hands behind his back so he didn't look passive. Someone should email him and tell them that would be like telling Dole to take his hand out of his pocket.

So is she going to analyze BO's uh, uh, er, but, but, uh? I wonder what she would have had to say about LBJ, Hubert Humphrey, Mondale, and a few other bores.

And frankly, I find it offensive for anyone to say anything about John McCains hands or arms. After this expert has been racked and deformed from unbelievable torture, then I will hear from her. AFAIC John can do anything he wants with his arms.

No BOR in this house anymore.
