***Eatin’ Obama Stew***

There’s a big, brown cloud in the city,
And the countryside’s a sin.
An’ the price of gas is too high to give up,
Gotta come down again.
When the world wide war is over and done,
And the dream of peace comes true.
We’ll all be drinkin’ free gin & juice,
and Eatin’ Obama stew.

When they find out how to burn water,
And the gasoline car is gone.
When an airplane flies without any fuel,
And the satellite heats our home.
One of these days when the air clears up,
And the sun comes shinin’ through.
We’ll all be drinkin’ free gin & juice,
and eatin’ Obama stew.

Eatin’ Obama stew in a silver spoon,
Underneath that sky of blue.
All be drinkin’ free gin & juice,
An’ eatin’ Obama stew.

So well said! I work in academia myself, and one thing that absolutely drives me up the wall is the opinion that the intellectual foundations of Western Civilization (Plato, Kant, the canon, art history, etc) are the domain of the hard left. This simply is not the case. As you point out, the hard left doesn’t even read Marx, they read 4th rate slime instead. Meanwhile, in my experience, the academics who do see the value in the classics and the canon are rarely political radicals. True they are left of center more often than not, but they are smart enough and professional enough to draw a line between their personal political views and their scholarship. They don’t waste classroom time blathering about how much Bush sucks, they don’t publish articles about how we deserved 9/11, they don’t have much use for courses on the poetry of disabled Palestinian lesbians, etc. They’re more concerned with Beowulf than Bush and Othello than Obama.

Voter fraud has been a specialty of the 'Rats - most notably their big city machines - for over 100 years. It can come in many forms, such as dead people voting, cadres voting multiple times at different locations, fixing voting machines to give a candidate "extra votes" even before the voting starts, voting machines in unauthorized locations, ineligible individuals voting, vote counting "irregularities," etc.

Opponents must be ever vigilant and attempt safeguard the integrity of the process as much as possible. We have to ignore the inevitable charges of "denying the right to vote" that crop up when cheats are caught in the act.

You bet they will; but there may not be any voters left on their side to vote for Obama since Sarah. LOL
