After watching Governor Sarah Palin deliver her Vice Presidential nomination acceptance speech at the Republican Party convention last night, Democrat VP nominee Senator Joseph Biden challenged her to a single debate on November 5, 2008.
When Senator Biden was asked if perhaps he had misspoken, noting that date was the Wednesday after Election Day, he replied, "I do not wish to take unfair advantage of an inexperienced speaker. Besides, I will probably have nothing else to do that day."
Only laughter was heard over the phone when Governor Palin's spokesman was reached for comment.

Biden is such a loser.
Yes, on Nov.5, Biden will attend a psychatric hospital for having lost the VP seat a year Dems should never have.

The real debate is the only real concern. She’ll get ambushed, and it will be on something she doesnt have a reponse for, and she might stumble.
The key is how she responds.

Right he is. He won't have anything else too do that day. Sarah on the other hand should be packing for her long across country move from Alaska to Sodom on the Potomac. Biden on the other hand will simply pick up Obama and drive to the Senate where neither will do a damned thing for the next few years but whine, complain and moan. Obama will also be telling everyone in the MSM how the election was stolen and explain why all the brothers and sisters in the hood are burning down LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, NY, and D.C.

I am looking forward to seeing Palin take on Biden.
He is so egotistical that he will think its going to be a walk in the park. What he will find is a lot of boulders in his path.

I know you are in France, but please be aware that the Congress' approval rating here is the lowest it has been ever, in the history of Congress.
Your comment is essentially saying that people should be okay or satisfied with 9% approval.
If a McDonald's restaurant had only 9% approval from customers, would it still be in business?
I'm sorry, but this is NOT a year that Democrats should be winning anything. They suck.

Thank you. They are trying to tear her down because she does not subscribe to the good old girls club: Ivy League or same level, Elitists Higher Institutions of Learning and the East and West Coast Brand of Feminist Liberalism. If you do not fit into their mold, you are catergorized as a knuckle dragging neanderthal, so unsophisticated and goober-like. I have said before, I have crossed paths with these twits professionally and casually, a sprinkle of them are actually human beings the rest are not fit to scoop up dog poo./Just Asking - seoul62........

I guess the press will ask Joe “I don’t know the answers either” Biden if he intends to follow a similar tact while debating Governor Palin.
I’ve a question for Biden that he does know the answer to yet will lie through his teeth about if asked. /s
Stay tuned.

Exactly. One of the pundits noted last night how she wiped the floor with Frank Murkowski (who had 20+ years in the US Senate) in the Alaska Gubernatorial debates, but she was more in her element there, whereas the national/international scene is new to her. That said, this gal knows how to handle herself. She expresses herself more clearly & concisely than Biden, who tends to lose his audience in his wordiness and I think that, combined with her intelligence, savvy, relatability and the right preparation will stand her in good stead.
