Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich did what conservatives have been waiting for someone to do since Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain's running mate: take on someone in the media claiming that she lacks the qualifications to be vice president.
Such marvelously occurred Tuesday evening on the convention floor in St. Paul when MSNBC's Ron Allen said to the former Speaker, "But to be fair, her resume is not something we're familiar seeing with presidential candidates."
This didn't sit well with Gingrich who strongly replied

For every Newt Gingrich (or Zell Miller back in ‘04) that stands ups to the MSM lies, there are dozens more who issue the standard bland “C’mon, you know that’s not true” line.
I’ve said it for years (on FR and while involved in Mn politics) that it’s high-frickin’ time that we started to get combative with the MSM. I think it’d go a long way to curbing their on-air BS.

Why, Newt, Obama has several years experience on that Annenberg financed commission with William Ayers. Oh, forgot, Obama never really knew Ayers.
But Republicans do need to start throwing it back at the MSM on every damned question, because practically all their questions contain all sorts of leftists assumptions and statements.
And, as has been said here often, Obama is a lightweight, in experience and in off teleprompter knowledge and intelligence. He’s the most unqualified nominee at least since WWII. That’s need to pointed out often, also.

But, in the past day or two, Obama has come up with the answer (at least he thinks so) to refute charges that he has no executive experience. He says he’s managed his own campaign for more than a year, all that money and all those people.
Now if that’s not high powered executive experience, what is?
