DON'T STOP FOLKS!!

JUST SAY NO TO GANGS!!

Congressman John R Carter of Texas says Gang of 10 a "Bad Deal"

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed a total lack of our "Establishment Media/Misinformation Socialist Monarchy" reporting on the price of gas and food for the past 2 weeks?

New FTC Rule Could Apply To Pelosi

After reading this post I decided to pull up her financial disclosure report and look for any other natural gas producers. On 11/8/07, she purchased between $250,001 and $500,000 of Quest Energy Partners, LP. (see pages 12 and 18). According to its site (http://qelp.publishpath.com), “The Partnership owns more than 2,300 wells and is the largest producer of natural gas in the Cherokee Basin, which is located in southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma and holds a drilling inventory of nearly 2,100 locations.”

Either she is so arrogant to think that nobody would find out that she is profiting by holding up new drilling and refining initiatives or she thinks nobody can touch her.

Has anybody checked Harry “The Body” Reid’s financial disclosure form? I’d say check Obama’s too but he hasn’t done anything but give speeches.

BEHOLD the Power of the People, and the Power of

Nancy: "most open, most honest, and most ethical Congress in history"

Nancy: "and Democrats promise to work together in a bi-partisan way for all Americans."

What is the truth about Nancy?

"Madam Speaker has a substantial amount of money invested in Clean Energy Fuels Corporation." dontgo

"T Boone Pickens runs CLNE, this is the company Nancy has invested in, and apparently, the push is Natural Gas, which is the focus of the $5 billion in Ca. tax money and $5 billion in fed money they are seeking."

From the same article:

"the investors in this ponzi scheme are banking on keeping the price of energy high, keeping the supply of domestic oil low on the basis of “environmental concerns”, and getting the government to invest BILLIONS in their plans, which will concentrate energy resources into fewer hands while making them all filthy rich."

"Only 20% of Americans now oppose offshore drilling.." Rasmussen

We have THREE DEMANDS for both the House AND the Senate! (call both House and Senate offices)

1) Congress MUST STOP PROTECTING Nancy's purse, get back to Washington, DC and vote on the American Energy Act!

2) Begin an IMMEDIATE investigation into CLNE, Pelosi, and other investors!

3) Demand that the Broadcaster Freedom Act be brought to the floor for a vote!

MELT THE LINES TODAY FOLKS!!!

As for the Gang of 10.

I had several conversations with these offices yesterday. They NEED to hear from us.

WE WANT THE BOEHNER BILL!

1) The House (Republican and Dem) has heard the people and know that this is the bill we want.

2) The Senate (this may be a surprise to some) actually represents the EXACT same people the House does! (amazing isn't it)

3) PREGO! yes, PREGO! It's in there! Boehner's Bill includes renewables, solar, wind, nuclear, AND drilling.

4) We don't want "something done" for the sake of "getting something done." WE WANT A SOLUTION!

5) If ANYTHING needs to added to the Boehner bill it is this, we need to allow drilling without interference of baseless lawsuits from anti-progress, anti-independence yahoos.

6) If BOEHNER'S BILL is not able to pass the Senate- then let the PEOPLE see that the Republicans offered solutions, and the Dems BAWKED!

7) If nothing gets passed-- well, the sunset on the congressional moretoreum will expire and then.......

LET THE DRILLING BEGIN!!!!!!!!!

Call the "Gang"

Lindsey Graham

John Thune

Saxby Chambliss

Bob Corker

Johnny Isakson

HERE is the House Bill

HERE is the "press release" from our "Gang"

No matter WHAT excuse or explanation they give you. You tell them- WE WANT THE HOUSE BILL- THERE IS NO NEED FOR GANGS! NONE! THIS IS WHAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT!

Rush has coined the term Drive-By Media.

I think we need to add “Bypass media” to our lexicon,

or use “media bybass” every time they ignore important information.

For example, yesterday was the handover of Anbar Province to Iraqi military control, and the media BYPASSED it entirely!

Last night the governors of the Gulf states spoke by satellite to the Republican Convention. Fox news showed it, CNN cut away and so CNN viewers, including people affected by Gustav, did not see what their governors said.

Let’s see...where is the Empress taking her august presence now while us lowly serfs go back to work so we can pay for her next adventure.

Oh, of course.

“US House speaker to make landmark Hiroshima visit

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2072209/posts";

Guess she’s going to go polish up her (self) image as a great humanitarian by claiming that we should have killed off a million or so Americans and Japanese in an invasion of mainland Japan.

Should have a BARF alert on everything the Empress touches or says. She’s just screwed up as a football bat.

Hello everyone ... been distracted by the weather threads and anyone from Florida will have their eyes glued on Hannah as she comes close to the East Coast. But one side benefit of this is that when you access the NOAA Buoy data, they have a gif of the buoy or the OIL PLATFORM where the reading comes from! And these are public domain images since it is a gubermint site!

For example:

select 42346 and you see as part of the image display.

So, if you want to peruse the Gulf of Mexico and scope out what is already there, here's the link: http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/maps/WestGulf.shtml

Not at all. Merely remind people that while gas is down NOW it can go right back up. The only way to prevent that is to drill here, drill now.

Thank for keeping this going. I don’twatch TV so I have no idea if there is any mention of the Drill Here, Drill Now proceedings in the House.

My guess is there is a complete news blackout on the Republican Representatives working through their vacation. It’s just despicable!

“...Getting harder to sell “Drill here...” with oil plunging. Now at $106, a full $41 drop in 3 months....”

I disagree. The push needs to continue for domestic drilling. Who knows what other madmen are out there to try and hold the USA hostage to foreign oil. We need a secure supply to meet our needs. Drilling on the OCS and ANWR IS THAT security. 9%Nan still needs to be pressured into changing in mind and allow the vote, no strings attached, for domestic drilling. There should be no let up. We’ve come too far and have made some gains. Let’s see it through to the end.

Drilling Rebels Keep Fighting During Republican Convention

"As the Democrats held caucuses on energy policy behind closed doors at their Denver convention last week, House Republicans continued their energy revolt, putting forth solutions to America’s energy crisis to a steady stream of vacationers seated in their colleagues' seats in the House chamber. GOP members continued their invitation to their Democrat colleagues to join the discussion and have an up-or-down vote on an all-of-the-above energy strategy.

Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI), Chairman of the Republican Policy Committee, was none too thrilled with what he believes will be constructed by Democrats behind closed doors to then be dumped on Congress without going through the normal processes. McCotter told me, “Our concern is twofold. Number one is that they’re going to put pressure on their targeted members to back off their support for the all-of-the-above energy strategy and number two in terms of what comes out of there we want it to go through regular order, let everybody have a chance to write it instead of [have] something endorsed by the Sierra Club a nebulous proposal when their director says that we are better off without cheap gas. Unfortunately he’s including us in that ‘we,’ and I fundamentally disagree with that.”

McCotter is referring to the Sierra Club having over three weeks ago pre-endorsed any bill Pelosi would construct and put before Congress in this highly unorthodox manner. In the 2006 March/April issue of Sierra Magazine, Executive Director Carl Pope is quoted as saying, “We’re better off without cheap gas.”

McCotter’s solution: “We need an all-of-the-above energy strategy for a responsible transition to American energy security independence that has three vital components. One, maximum American energy production, two, common sense conservation and three, free market innovations..."

Do We Have the Will to Drill? Environmentalists’ New Strategy to Kill Energy Exploration

"Summary: The debate over energy and environmental policy has taken a surprising turn. With gasoline hovering around $4 a gallon, environmental groups are on the defensive. Americans want lower gas prices but environmentalists want to use high fuel prices to force dramatic changes on society. Many greens continue to oppose all new energy production, but the major environmental groups have a new strategy. They think their allies in Congress can convince the public that more oil won’t lower gas prices. ...

Today’s green activists take their cues from professional pessimists like Paul Ehrlich. He’s the Stanford University professor who famously –and incorrectly— predicted in The Population Bomb (1968) that rising population levels would cause the collapse of civilization by 1990. The left’s environmental soothsayer argued in 1978 that increasing energy production would have catastrophic consequences for the planet.

“Giving society cheap, abundant energy…would be the equivalent of giving an idiot child a machine gun,” wrote the guru whom Al Gore has hailed as a visionary.

Ehrlich, like Gore, has long supported taxing energy to discourage its use, and his inheritors in today’s environmentalist community are optimistic that soaring oil and gasoline prices could help make their utopian vision of society a reality. “High prices have been the prod that the left has favored to persuade Americans to abandon their SUVs and minivans, use mass transit, turn the thermostat down, produce less consumer goods and services, and stop emitting those satanic greenhouse gases,” the Wall Street Journal opined in 2006..."

I like your "Have gun will travel" card. See this post from "WaPo's Cohen: Palin Pick Like Caligula Naming His Horse a Priest":

Once my granparents were watching an episode when the bad guys were making fun of Paladin’s holster. They said, “I always wanted a horse’s head.” Paladin replied, “You already have one.” My grandfather said, “In real life, he would have said, “You’re already a horse’s *ss.”

Pickens says drilling won't do much good because we have only 3% of the world's oil reserves. That's today. How much energy does today's USA oil output compare to USA's energy output from wind?
