“I guess someone must have finally told Gov. Sarah Palin just what it is that the vice president does.”

While Maia is certainly entitled to her feelings, this link, to a biased, self-indulgent, narcissist web site, is not a "news" story and does not belong on AOL as such.

One place to complain is here: http://notify.aol.com/ui_front/jsp/notify_about_notify.jsp

Maybe Freepers can find other AOL contacts too.

“Exactly what does a vice president do?” is a rhetorical question, of course. The answer is “not much”, which is my only concern for her; this is a woman who is used to doing things. She’s way overqualified for the job.

AOL, that force in American media that nobody notices? The company now owned by a corporation that began as a mob-owned chain of parking garages in Jersey?

I see.

Here’s the full “what does the VP do anyway” quote. ““But as for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day? I’m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we’re trying to accomplish up here for the rest of the U.S., before I can even start addressing that question.” Please, do let’s make this a national issue.

i used to love aol. i would call them 10 times a day to request service. each time i called, they would send me 5-7 floppies which i immediately reformatted and used to store data. it’s too bad they won’t send a flash drive to you these days to install their cr@p these days. :^)

Does the author know what a Vice President does? Probably not, but the author’s function is to lecture us on how dumb other people are.

Exactly like Clarence Thomas was to the “black establishment”. Wise move by McCain to shift the focus from his age, to her “inexperience”, since the debate now will be between Palin and the messiah of hope.

Ann Coulter with experience in elective office.

What is not to love about this woman? Her attractive demeanor, majestic as it is, is tempered with real-life experiences that would humble most keyboard and armchair warriors. Telegenic, quick with the TelePrompTer and unafraid (how else to explain the hair styling?), she is definitely NOT Hillary Clinton. Sarah Palin was chosen, not to appeal to the Democrat women (a fool’s errand in any event, for whom NO Republican could ever be “adequate”), but to remind independent and Republican women where their interests were better protected.

But the real target was male voteres of all political beliefs. Even if they could not possibly match Gov. Palin in any competition, they would still gallantly lay down their cape for her to step to the ground.

Sometimes men are so easy.

Isn’t it interesting that Michelle Obama during the Dems convention made herself to be just a mom like you and me, just looking out for her 2 kids, not going to be a political partner with her husband even though she has her Princeton education and Havard Law school and 6 digit salary in management. And SARAH comes in as an experienced political, mayor, Governor, Head of the Alaska Reserves, has dealt with foreign countries, Canada with gas and oil pipelines and Russia and Japan with fishing rights. And she’s a marksman, moosehunter, and outspoken pol against her own party’s corruption, a manly man for a husband and 5 children. Fabulous and makes Michelle O. look a little dishonest and hum drum to me.

Scroll down here, they’re going after the daughter after their not pregnant thing didn’t work out:

http://ace.mu.nu/

Note: I’m shocked they didn’t check the fake stomachs via costume or education stores or her last purchase of pillows during the pregnancy span.

-This is why FINOs will stay on the left where they should. For all their talk, they allowed the media and others jump all over their candidate. You can’t hear a sound about women being hung, stoned, honor killings, child brides, sex traffic, etc.. By the time they woke up and realized they were treated like the other woman, hearing empty promises, it was too late. Since the men on the left spend more time primping than they do, they could care less. The more men sleep around, he’s a stud, killing off kids, cool man, it’s all about her... they can’t see what it does to women. Yep, stay over there, if they still can’t think before acting, we don’t need them. Maybe they should look up what feminine means or what makes them women.

I’m not sure she’s quite up to Ann’s level of wit, but I think she’s a much better political leader than Ann would ever make.

In fact, I’m not sure that there’s a better one out there today. You can see it in little Piper, who’s clearly a chip off the ol’ mother block: very sharp, genuine, precocious and likeable already at the age of seven.

agree, boy the msm is really trying to help him win

which then leads to this question?

if obama is such an experienced candidate, why do they need to give him a handicap? almost like affirmative action, they don’t believe that he can stand up alone, on whatever accomplishments he has

aside, i can’t stand oprah anymore, she has become (in her mind and those silly women that go and cry at her shows) a Godlike creation

What's the point? let AOL die with their pathetic audience. They are no more a relevant voice than Air AmeriKa.

What's worse are the lies and distortions by the Huffington Post, Think Progress, and Daily Kos, which I suspect really have much smaller audiences than they would like you to think. Remember, the liberal mind is diseased, and obsessed, and I THINK these ghouls click those sites all day long to increase traffic. I could be wrong, but think about this; why do the libs NEED the Fairness Doctrine? Air America is dying, lowest ratings in talk radio. MSNBC has lowest ratings in cable news. Democrats have only had three presidents in the last fifty years. Dan rather fired for lying.

The list goes on and on. Obama didn't raise $200 million from American workers, that money came from Saudis (we need to investigate that). The event in Denver of EPIC proportions? cmon...maybe Barry is the new Elvis, but didn't they let people in for free? Democrats are liars.

Democrats are scared to reveal their real agenda, so they talk in circles. they don;t come out and say they support Killing babies, they call it “choice,” or reproductive rights. I know, I know, I'm crazy and paranoid.
