I just came in from outside -- the heart of Public Square, in Cleveland, Ohio. I saw one John McCain Straight Talk Express bus. I saw a man speaking with the driver of the bus. That man told me that there is going to be some sort of rally here on Tuesday. I will keep you posted.
Northeast Ohio PING, please! :-)
Talk about going into the belly of the beast!Cuyahoga county is a loon stronghold, thank these folks for all the happy years of Dennis the Menace.
Cleveland has many suburbs that McCain/Palin will appeal to, so don’t confuse it with Cleveland proper where the Kookcinich voters are located.

It’s easy to spot Obama’s bus, too. Just look for a Citizen Of The World throwing people underneath it.

A Ghoulardi reference after all these years!Ernie Anderson would be impressed.
I love that bumper sticker. Any chance you could post it to eBay?
My brother sadly works for the Obama campaign in Parma I think. I’ve never been to that part of Ohio (my visits to Ohio consist of drives through the state), so I don’t know its politics. He feels optimistic about his guy, but then again, he’s drunk on the Obama Kool-Aid.

To be added to the Ohio Ping List, please freepmail (works best) both TonyRo76 and LasVegasDave.
Just click on it (or here). It will take you to cafepress because they handle to procurement of my design.
As leftie as Cleveland proper is, consider the fact that the 50,000 watt flamethrower on the lake goes from 9 AM to 7 PM with conservative talkers including El Rushbo. Triv has had the #1 rated show in his time slot for something like 50 ratings books. Somebody out there must be listening, beside myself.

Will do. :-)
Thank you, Las Vegas Dave. Hope all is well with you. :-)
And 5 watt (not really) WHK 1420 has wall-to-wall conservative talk, now that Wiener is gone. Bennett, Laura, Prager, Medved, Hewitt, Levin. I wish I could hear them over a wider area.
I can pick them up at home and at work on the radio, but on the road a few miles from town in the car is a killer, especially at night.
Yes, at night reception is almost impossible. Get yourself an iPod for $50, download the shows, and take them with you. There’s no better way. :-)
First of many sightings to come over these next two months. I look forward to seeing a lot of McCain and Palin in northeast Ohio before November 4th.
I have a feeling that they will be all over Northeast Ohio.
Thanks for letting us know, GOP_Lady.
Please, please keep us posted. I checked the event and nation sites for McCain and nothing is listed.
I hope I can find out something. :-) If there’s an event, we’ll hear about it.
From cleveland gop:
“This per WKYC.....Sen. McCain has scheduled an event, low key in nature to take place Tuesday afternoon at a yet to be determined location.”
Thank you, cleveland gop
FYI ... McCain low-key event in Cleveland, Ohio somewhere/sometime today.

Categories: Breaking News, Elections, McCain, Presidential candidates, Republican National Convention Republican Presidential candidate Sen. John McCain stopped at Brecksville City Hall about 1:30 p.m. and first met with members of the city's Water Rescue Squad, which McCain said was on call to assist the region of the country lashed by Hurricane Gustav. After chatting for about five minutes with the squad members, McCain went inside the fire house. No media were allowed inside. Ten minutes later, McCain made a brief statement to reporters, thanking the Fire Department for its work. He also said, "How excited I am to have Sarah Palin, the great governor of Alaska as my running mate." McCain said, "America is excited, and they will be more exciting once they see her tomorrow night." McCain refused to take questions regarding Palin.
