...the nature and extent of Sen Obama's left-wing agenda doesn't seem to have penetrated into the awareness of the American public...They just don't associate him, the "Progressive" movement and the Democratic party with the kinds of infringements...that have come to be seem as "normal" in everyday life...things such as...parents being threatened for spanking their kids...public libraries that let paedophiles in - while keeping Christians at bay...kids being punished in school for drawing pictures of their soldier relatives...

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
The Democrat nominee for President of the United states of America made Joseph Stalin of the U.S.S.R. proud last night.
I am 45, married and the mother of 3. In a very short time period I have seen this country change tremendously and it has not changed for the better. It scares me to think of what the US will be like for my children.
Without his radicalism, he's nothing.

We need to act on that knowledge.
To give the cause of deterioration a name - “the Progressive Movement” and “the left-wing of the Democratic Party.”
When, sad, catastrophic or simply stupid things of the kind mentioned in the article happen - parents criminalized for spanking their kids, porn made available to kids in school or libraries, etc. we need to speak up - e.g. to say “that is the work of “Progressives” and their allies in the Democratic party. There are very few conservatives that do things of that kind. So, if you want more of the same vote for Democrats, if not, vote for the GOP.”
Make sense?
All the best!

I suspect that Sen Obama looked closer to home for his sources of inspiration. Men such as:Saul Alinsky, Jürgen Habermas, Walter Philip Reuther, Herbert Marcuse, Stanley Fish, Richard Delgado, Richard Daley I and II, and Tony Arcado, come to mind. Along, of coursel, with old Marx himself. There was one vital area though where he did follow in JS’s path - and likely put a smile on the old monster’s red sweating face down in hell. That is the secrete of the power of bureaucracy. A grip of steel resides in the soft hands of those who know where every last document is tucked away and how to find, process and - lose them. And, who do the books and disburse the cheques. As secretary of the Russian CP, while those like Trosky spend their time making elaborate plans and spinning theories, JS was spinning a web around them and pulling it tighter. Soon enough the actual machinery of state was in his hands - including the security services. When Lenin died he was more than ready. They - the rest - were not.
Obama and the Progressives in general also know to start with the quite folks who administrate schools, teach teachers, train lawyers.administer “human resources,” do “intake” for social service agencies, give council to the troubled, and - file the documents, do the books and dispurse the cheques - for government, NGOs. and - increasingly - in private business as well. The result - a death of a thousand cuts. Much less actual pain and gore than Uncle Joe was inclined towards but - eventually - as sure a grip.
All the best!
