A school teacher killed in a shooting in Montgomery Village on Saturday was the cousin of Maryland Lieutenant Governor Anthony G. Brown, an official statement revealed today.
Lt. Gov. Brown announced that he would be leaving the Democratic National Convention in Denver to return home and support his family in the wake of cousin Cathy Brown's shooting.
Lt. Gov. Brown's statement adds that, "I leave my fellow delegates with a heavy heart and I ask that everyone keep my family in their prayers."
Cathy Brown was an elementary school teacher. It was reported on Sunday that she and a campus security guard were dead after being fatally shot at a Montgomery Village Home.
Police say about 10:30 p.m. Saturday officers responded to a call in Montgomery Village and found a man, identified as 44-year-old Michael Keith Wilson of Hagerstown, and a woman, identified as 40-year-old Catherine Brown, in the garage of Brown's home on Vineyard Haven Drive. Officials say Wilson was threatening Brown with a gun. Officers were speaking with the man to calm the situation when shots went off.

Apparently Wilson was the ex-boyfriend of Brown and had threatened her so much that she took extra security precautions. Wilson was also an ex-cop according to the Channel 7 video.
She took extra security precautions but because she could not carry she now is dead.

Whoa, that’s scary. Shows you can’t trust anyone just because of their association. What might he have done to the Cathedral?
