I think often they like to portray people doing illegal things with guns that are legal.
Hell they could be going on BATF regs that make something illegal because you have more than 2 items on a certain list on the gun.

Frankly, I believe a case could be made to ban the wearing of face coverings and body amour by protesters. A lot of the thugs in the crowds are foreign agents.
As for the guy arrested, he may simply be hunter. Chances are it will be spun as some ‘right wing’ nut by the MSM. We don’t need any of that from our side.
Let the country see who the leftists are and how they behave in Denver. Remember, Nixon won in ‘68.

I just checked the local Denver TV and newspaper websites and don’t see anything about this yet.
Today’s protest march is estimated to have drawn between 200 and 500+ depending on which source you are looking at. I bet they are outnumbered by law enforcement types...

After all we’ve seen about security precautions, you have to wonder how anybody not pre-approved could be registered in one of the hotels being used by the ‘biggies’. They’ve sort of created their own little closed-off complex there. It seems unlikely there’d be rooms available.
I get this picture of somebody calling up and saying, “I’d like a non-smoking room for the Democratic Convention, and I’d like your special right wing fanatic discount, please”.
KUSA - Denver Police evacuated House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from the Grand Hyatt hotel in Denver Saturday after a man carrying two long rifles and two handguns walked into the lobby of the hotel.
Denver Police spotted the man, Joseph Calanhini, 29, of Pinedale, Wyo., walking through the hotel Saturday around 4 p.m. He is not a registered guest at the hotel, according to Grand Hyatt General Manger Ed Bucholtz.
Calanhini told police he is in Denver on business and is planning a safari to Africa. Police say Calanhani had just had two of his rifles scoped at a nearby gun shop and carried them in cases through the hotel lobby, where Pelosi is staying, according to Lt. Ron Saunier, Denver Police Spokesman.
"We don't know why he was walking through our hotel," said Bucholtz.

Yeah. Maybe he was going to register. Maybe there is a good restaurant there and he didn’t want to leave his valuables in his vehicle.
Just found it interesting that this was released in such a way by the major media to create a panic or chaos or add to the tensions naturally existing in such events.
