CLAYMONT, Del. (CBS 3) ― A woman wanted in the bizarrely complicated attempted kidnapping of her former virtual boyfriend has been apprehended after a multi-state search.
New Castle County Police said 33-year-old Kimberly Jernigan of North Carolina was apparently distraught after her online relationship with a 52-year-old man from Claymont, Delaware came to an end.
The pair apparently met online in "Second Life." A virtual relationship began between the victim, whose character was a Lion, and Jerrigan, whose online persona was said to be a virtual woman.

I want Catherine Zeta Jones to do this to me.
I will give her my personal schedule and locations and all information necessary to meet me in online fantasy games as well.
Anybody know her fax number or email address?

You know, maybe I’m just getting a little jaded with these psychotic scorned women, but unless the woman drove 2,000 miles in a diaper, I’m just not impressed anymore.

The curious thing is that this dude agreed to meet her in life....and then kinda figured things out. He was over 50 years old...so he must have had this Barbie image in his mind as he met her, and then decided this wasn’t going to work. She’ll do around three years in prison, but then she’ll be out. If I were this guy....I’d move to Idaho and stay out of Second Life completely. She will return to his doorstep if he isn’t careful. It would have been curious if she had been successful and actually kidnapped him and taken him down to North Carolina...I could see a movie coming out of this scenario...”Second Life, North Carolina”.

Is there a gallery of those “improved and corrected motivational” photos?
Silence is golden, but duct tape is silver?
It is The Far Side meets the in flight magazine inspirational photos section.
Good, good work.

Thank you for the demotivators link, I am celebrating what happened today (Biden and the Messia-uhhs falling polls) so it is good to laugh again. We have a chance. Let’s go find a way to mess it up anyway.

When the two met in reality several months ago, police said the victim ended the relationship, sending Jernigan into a downward spiral. Connect the dots:

You are thinking along the right(?) lines. The punch line to that one is really foul.

Now I think I have heard everything, an 'ex-virtual boyfriend'. Unbelievable!!! It's why famous people have had bodyguards for decades. Sickos think they have a 'relationship' with someone they've seen in TV or the movies. Cyberspace just makes the delusion more personal.

But the duct tape is my fault.
