Obama and other similar ‘thinkers’ might have an epiphany if they’d contemplate the following. China went to major efforts to build the infrastructure and venues to host the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
The US has numerous cities that could host the Olympics with little need for new construction.

The infrastructure in China does not match the USA, even with all the recent building. They do have some very modern things such as the airport in Beijing and Shanghai, but there is no interstate highway system. You shouldn't drink the water in any of cities as it is not safe, even Beijing and Shanghai.
Some of trains are modern, others are a disaster. The regional airports are scary. Some of airlines are awful, hard to believe, but worse than the USA.
Obama wouldn't have said this if he had done any traveling in China.
His *brilliant* idea was for the Federal govt. to decide which state would get the new large job creating opportunities instead of having the states essentially put their best package together - to compete for the business.

Amazing how it's all well and fine for China to build coal and nuclear generating plants, but damn America for even thinking about it. We should just inflate our tires instead, sit in the dark, with 9 watt florescent bulbs to read under.
I wonder if Obama'a Union supporters agree that the USA should follow China's lead of cheap wages/ no benefits for our labor forces? It sure would help GM Ford and Chrysler become more competitive if they only had to pay auto workers $1 a day.

It was when he claimed 10,000 had died in one town from a tornado.

The bottom line is Obama is admiring China’s government’s progression from Communism to Fascism. He thinks the USA should have a very similar permanent type of government, except with an Islamic flavor to it’s system of law and order.
