When it comes to John McCains running mate, several political observers are saying U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham shouldnt be counted out.
I dont think (his selection is) out of the realm of possibility, said state Republican Party chairman Katon Dawson. He added that its very exciting and a compliment to Lindsey Graham to be on the short list for vice president.

I have no doubt Graham has grand ambitions, but no way McCain will pick him for VP. He just comes across as, well, not very manly. I actually like him, though I don’t agree with him on some points.

Out of all the possible running mates McCain could potentially choose, I could not think of a WORSE choice than Lindsey Graham. If McCain wants to definitely lose this election, then yes, pick Graham. If he wants to WIN, he needs Mitt Romney.

Graham is already McCain’s Manservant. I don’t think the Constitution permits serving as both Vice President and Manservant.

Hmm. That could be. After all, he seems to be McCain’s right hand man. He seems to be everywhere McCain goes. And there he was, the other nite, photographed sitting in the audience right next to Cindy at some big event. I can’t recall what the big gala was all about.

Lindsay Graham would be to John McCain what Algore was to Bill Clinton.
That is, a slavish sycophant...slightly demented...whose primary value was his unquestioning loyalty.
McCain could achieve the same objective by nominating the family dog.

That little troublemaker...please, no! I've thought Graham was a possibility all along. Nobody follows closer to McCain's rearend. If McCain gets stuck, or his finger in the wind doesn't allow him to go pro-abort, democrat, anti-conservative or pretty-boy Romney, he'll resort to Graham.
