What could *possibly* go wrong? I don't know, but I want to see them test it on cats.

Tesla, inside of his grave: “OK, I should have kept better notes, but jeez - it took you 100 years to catch up to one of my parlor tricks? You guys watch too much TV . . . I never should have come up with the fundamental principals for that either (radio too!).”

If you are only using the inductive portion of the transmission, how efficient could it be?
Sounds like a large energy loss is involved to me.

I wonder if a person with an implanted wire mesh stint would have some induced voltages?

"The trick with wireless power is not can you do it; it's can you do it safely and efficiently," Efficiently? Let me see the power meter attached to the 60 watt light bulb and the one attached to the power transmitter. If it was more than 1% efficient I would be surprised.

A picture says more than a thousand words:
If I remember correctly, Intel claims 66 or 75% efficiency - which IMHO is the real news.

Tesla was a genius inventor, but with no people skills. His big mistake was trying to compete with Edison.

I had an Oral B toothbrush almost 20 years ago that recharged wirelessly. This is nothing new.

I think Nikola Tesla himself proposed this technology back in the day.

In today’s world he would have been drugged and put in special ed.
