Was this one set to roll today all along or was it in the chamber and ready to fire in case Obama tried a guilt-by-association ploy of his own first? Either way, acidic stuff. Ben Smith has background on the group that produced it and helpfully starts the lefty talking point rolling on why this is an egregious smear, as all conservative criticism of Obama must and can only be, notwithstanding the facts that (a) Ayers is indeed an unrepentant terrorist and (b) he and the Democratic nominee for president are friends.....

Yikes! It’s deadly! And the pre-convention release makes me wonder if somehow Bill & Hill might have had a hand in it. Will Hillary be the candidate by acclaim now that B.O. is damaged goods?

Excellent ad. Too bad they didn’t use the photo of Ayers stepping on the flag!
I’m glad the McCain gloves are finally off. Hopefully his campaign is giving us a glimpse of how he’s going to handle foreign policy!

This ad wasn’t produced by the McCain campaign. It’s (supposedly) an independent group. This doesn’t suprprise me—I doubt McCain has enough killer instinct to come out with such an ad.

I heard the ad on Sean Hannity's show. One thing it left out was that the article, in which Ayers said his only regrets were that they hadn't done more bombings, was the on the front page of the New York Times on September 11, 2001.

IMO, this ad has, or will have, more impact than either a potential Rezko or Wright ad. Rezko is a complicated R.E. deal that the average Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sixpack might not readily understand. The Wright issue has been discussed numerous times by Hannity and the rest. But linking Obama to a former terrorist who actually set off a bomb in the Pentagon will really hit home.

Look at the Obama cult clan - they are defending Obama, saying the connections are “loose” or that “it all happened when Obama was 7.” No, it did not all happen - Ayers didn’t proclaim he was proud of bombing the capitol, wishes they could have done more, served on the same board Obama agreed to serve on, go to his house for political rallies, call him on his website “respectable” and “mainstream”, etc. when Obama was 7.
To: Renfield
WOW.
That ad needs to run 24x7 on all the channels....
Killer.

Much better looking too, especially in 68-72 time period. Lots of guys came round to SDS events trying to score the girls, many of whom mimicked Bernadine's appearance.

McCains camp was waiting for Obama to go negative. Thats
why they kept taunting him with “the One” and celebrity ads
even after they had their impact on the electorate. They knew it was driving Obama crazy and he would respond.
Now the gloves are off and all the Obama dirt will be revealed by Mccain. The Michelle Obama whitey
tape is probally waiting for next week.
To: Renfield
Thanks for posting - good ad.
But, I don’t think it’s “brutal”.. seriously.
In fact, I think it’s a bit understated, but then again,my
choice of adjectives wouldn’t have been “primetime” safe.

I understand your point, but IMO nothing would be more devastating than an ad with the picture of smiling Barack with arm around Wright, Barack’s quote about Wright being his mentor, a statement that Barack’s book was named after a sermon by Wright, and then, to cap it all off, the horrifying audio in the background of Wright screaming “God d*** America”.
To: dinoparty
The clip of Obama saying “white man’s greed” and the clip of him calling his grandmother a “typical white person” also needs to be used at some point - but not all at once. You should never fire all of your amunition at once.
To: GatorGirl
Yeah, the big Zero, don’t know who he’s messin’ with. McCain can take the empty suit with his hands tied behind his back.
McCain has proven he can take the torture. Can the Obamao wimp? heehee

Yeah! Wait until after the convention and really start to unload- the more people see the appalling associates of Obimbo, the more they will be turned off.
The media has coddled and hidden just about every questionable and unsavory aspect of the inexperienced "affirmative action” canidate.
Hammer him on Ayers, Wright,Rezco and his truly demonic abortion record—
Lock and Load! Its just about time to blow this punk out of the water-——
To: Renfield
Indeed, we all need to do that. But, I hope it gets at least 1000 basis points in Ohio, Virginia, Indiana, and Michigan (other places of course, too, if they have the funds - but we need to get those first three states squarely in McCain’s column and the last one flipped).

If you like him then vote for Barrack Hussein Abomination

Actually, that would make perfect sense, if it truly exists, that is.
To have used the Michelle O. “whitey” rant earlier would be seen as getting too down and dirty.
Now that the punches are flying thick and fast, its release would not seem extreme.

That video is a 'must see'.
Anyone who is even considering voting for Hussein needs to be aware of the type of people that he would call 'friends'!!!
It's absolutely OUTRAGEOUS that anyone would even talk to a proud, unrepentant terrorist like Ayres--yet Hussein considers him a friend.
Unbelievable.

I think this is a response to the idiotically disingenuous Obama remarks regarding the number of homes (Yes, I know it's dumber than dumb.) owned by the McCains. Anyone with brains knows folks with money invest in real estate! The Dems stepped over a line with this non-issue. What difference does the number of homes owned by a Presidential candidate make?
Did anyone ask how many pieces of property John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, or Franklin D. Roosevelt owned-—does it really matter? Or the “swimmer”, how much property does he own? Let's talk about that.

I think the ad is only going to run in two states. This info is from one of the “comments”, so I can't vouch for its veracity. It is a shame that it won't run in more places, if this “two state” thing is true.
