U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, the first black woman to represent Ohio in Congress, died Wednesday evening at a Cleveland area hospital after suffering an aneurysm.
Tubbs Jones, 58, chaired the House Ethics Committee and was one of Hillary Clintons biggest supporters during the Democratic primaries.
The liberal Democrat, first elected in 1998, suffered a brain hemorrhage while driving her car in Cleveland Heights Tuesday night, said Dr. Gus Kious, president of Huron Hospital. He said the very serious hemorrhage was caused by an aneurysm that burst in an inaccessible part of her brain.
Her death was announced late Wednesday in a statement from the family, Huron Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic. They said she died at 6:12 p.m.

More: Fox reported that she was driving her car in Cleveland last night in a fashion that a police officer described as erratic. After her vehicle was stopped she was then transported to a hospital, where she passed away this morning.

Ditto—give them peace and strength to get thru this loss. She was young (58) and this sounds as if it was unexpected.

Prayers for her and her family; may the be comforted by God’s presence. She was a vocal and unapologetic advocate for Hillary Clinton, and was a VERY influential power behind the introduction of Clinton’s name at the convention this year...
To: KJC1
Prayers for those around her. This has to be difficult.

Prayers out for the recently departed. It doesn't matter if they're a donkey or an elephant, leaving this world that early is tragic.
Condolences to her family & friends, too.

The unbelievable thing was the top story at the top of the hour on the national ABC Radio news was that she had been taken to the hospital — not that she had passed away, mind you, but that she had been taken to the hospital.
The SECOND top story was the deaths of 140 people in a plane crash.
I just have to shake my head sometimes at the Drive-By Media. Until my teeth rattle.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer:
U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, the first African-American woman to represent Ohio in Congress, has died after suffering a brain aneurysm, said sources familiar with the situation. She was removed from life support at 12:19 p.m. at Huron Road Hospital, the sources said.
Tubbs Jones, 58, served as a Cuyahoga County judge and prosecutor before succeeding U.S. Rep. Louis Stokes. She has served five terms in Congress and is expected to easily win her sixth in November.

Is Diane Feinstein a superdelegate or just a delegate?
She just broke her ankle and isn’t going to the convention now. She was a strong Hillary Clinton supporter.
I’m not trying to get all “conspiracy” or anything, but keep your eye on Ed Rendell of PA. He just announced he’s going to vote for Hillary.
Remember what Obama did in Chicago so he could run unopposed? Does Alice Palmer ring a bell?
I don’t trust Obama at all. He’s a dirty, dirty guy with creep, criminal friends. I wouldn’t be surpised at all if he’s working behind the scenes to threaten the Hillary-supporting delegates and superdelegates to not vote for her during the convention so it will truly be just a symbolic vote, like the Obama gang wants it to be.

What about prayers for the dead shoplifter that was so funny earlier today?
Sure, that's a good sentiment. But that doesn't mean that a criminal cooking his own goose isn't still funny. You CAN be both dead AND funny.
This story, on the other hand, doesn't appear to be funny.

Why? Because someone died as the result of stupidity from their criminal actions? Sorry. No sympathy here. I pray that she didn’t breed, and if she did, I pray the child is raised better than that - but not by its maternal grandparent(s).
