McCain leads by two after Rasmussen had him trailing by two one month ago.

Let’s not get cocky as McCain make pick a bone head for VP.

But look at this:

http://www.electoral-vote.com/icon.html

It gives you the electoral count four years ago to the day.

McCain potentially can wipe this guy on the floor, and win very big.

The more you see and hear and know of Obama the more you dislike him. Thus people are voting against him...

On the other hand the more you know of Mac, he seems to get better.

McCain leads in the last four Florida polls, even after Obama massively outspent McCain on TV advertising by something like $5 million to nothing.

Four of the last five polls out of Florida have McCain leading. Obama is advertising heavily there, and McCain really isn't advertising at all.

Still a lot of time to go, but Obambi's dreams of capturing Florida keep growing dimmer by the day.

You and I are on the same wavelength.

I look at the last poll from Survey USA and it shows McCain ahead 57-38% among white voters and trailing 48-42% among Hispanic voters. There is NO WAY Obama can win Florida if McCain gets close to 60% of the white vote and close to 45% of the Hispanic vote.

The Democrats are drowning in a sea of thier own arrogance and avarise.
And if it continues like this, the down-ticket blood-letting could be ENORMOUS, anywhere outside of the Dem-Controlled inner-city hellholes...

In the primary and in the general so far, advertising by the Messiah does not seem to help him at all. he spent truckloads on ads in PA, OH, etc and got beat by large margins in each case.

You know, this is beginning to look like a sporting event where the teams are tied, except we are in the first half and one team has been using their first string players while the other is using the third string, saving the first for the second half.

Short of a McCain heart attack, etc, I firmly believe Obama has no chance. He is looking more and more like an amateur with every passing day.

The McCain List.

Florida
McCain 48%
Obama 46%

"While Obama remains close in the polls, he is viewed unfavorably by 48% of Florida voters, including 57% of white voters. Just 49% of all voters give the Democrat a favorable assessment. McCain is viewed favorably by 61% of Florida voters and unfavorably by 36%."

Not. Even. Close. McCain will win Florida walking away.

“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows Barack Obama attracting 45% of the vote while John McCain earns 42%. When “leaners” are included, it’s Obama 47% and McCain 45%.”

RealClearPolitics average still has The One ahead, too.

Virginia is not tied. Last poll had McCain ahead there. And no way IN goes Obama. That’s the election, right there, without one other “in play” state coming to McCain-—NH, NM, IA, MN, whatever.

I see them leanng towards McCAin..

Both O and Mc are advertising heavily in PA right now (at least in the Phila. media market). They are saturating the prime time Olympic coverage. Normally a Dem would hold their fire in PA until late Sept./early Oct. I’m surprised O is blazing with both barrels this early.

Okay let’s go through this “winning a Southern state” plan that barack mcgovern is peddling.
In order to win Florida B-mac MUST do all three of these things:

A) Hold ALL of the White votes frenchie got in 2004 - NOT A CHANCE!

B) Get 95% of the Black vote - sounds almost doable until you consider that zombie’s most recent poll had his Black voter numbers so low that they were not even reported, just alluded to. In this case ANY slip would end the race.

C) Increase the Black turnout by 23% - those who have not been involved in a campaign need to understand that an increase of 6% is a PHELPSIAN feat, and 23% is impossible.

Enough said?
