Group tied to al-Qaida backs McCain for prez
WorldNetDaily ^ | March 2, 2008 | Jerome Corsi

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain has enjoyed strong support from a lobbyist group that backs the Kosovo Liberation Army despite allegations the KLA is a Muslim terrorist group with ties to criminal drug networks and al-Qaida.

The Albanian American Civic League, or AACL, regards the KLA as "freedom fighters," said the AACL's president, former Republican congressman Joe DioGuardi of New York.

They're "not terrorist, like the Serbs and Greeks say," DioGuardi insisted in an interview with WND.

But Islam expert Robert Spencer, editor of the popular website Jihad Watch, contends radical Islam is the driving force behind the Kosovo independence movement.

"There is no excusing the excesses of the Serbs under (former President Slobodan) Milosevic, but there is no denying also that jihadists have been pouring into Bosnia and Kosovo, preparing to use them as a base for jihad activity in Europe – and we have been helping them," Spencer told WND.

Corsi has been in the news again with THE OBAMA NATION, and I'm disturbed that such an unreliable friend of the GOP is continuing to fight our battles. A nut is a nut, and we need to cut this guy loose.

Well he’s going on his media barnstorm (including White Supremacist radio unfortunately) as a Conservative figure. We need to be more proactive in denouncing him.

Agree however on Free Republic this lunatic Jerome Corsi is well respected by many freepers including some very smart freepers and I do not know why they do not see that he is a dangerous lunatic. Also he is a freeper in case you do not know.

This is why I don't trust Corsi, along with his obsession with the conspiracy theory that our Country's sovereignty is being sold out to create a North American Union.

I have not been suspicious of Corsi's motivations until I realized that he is more interested in dollars than in political principle.

I do not know why they do not see that he is a dangerous lunatic.

And it is going to be seen as a way to diminish the Swift Boat Vets and the criticism of Obama. And I am more angry about the first than the second.

Being a ghost writer is one thing. Being a liar is another.

First, World Nut hasn’t updated Corsi’s Bio at the bottom of the page. Second, Corsi is and never has been a fan of McCain. Third, this support by the KLA doesn’t seem to have a clear date and isn’t defined to any great degree. The article does seem to have some balance in that it defines that the region is 90% Muslim and that the US as well as McCain have already chosen to back Kosovo as an independent nation. Finally, it looks like the remainder of the allegations are supposition or bitter Serbs. After all it is not inconsistent to believe that Muslims can reach valid conclusions. If you don’t accept that; Afghanistan and Iraq should have been left alone.

Face it. The GOP loves Corsi when he gores the enemy. When he tells the truth about a republican, they get bent out of shape. McCain is backed by these islamist terrorists. Either you like it or you don’t, but that’s the truth of it.
I’m not nearly as concerned about these candidates as I am about voters who ignore distasteful connections because there is an R beside the name.

And don’t forget. McCain wanted to send ground troops to Kosovo.

McCAIN AND THE KLA CONNECTION
: Feb/25/2000

[snip]WHO IS JOE DIOGUARDI?

DioGuardi is an extremist who lost his seat in Congress because his growing preoccupation with creating a “Greater Albania” did not exactly fit in with the pothole-fixing skills that must be the first concern of New York City politicians. Most Albanian-Americans support independence for Kosovo, and look with disdain and bewilderment at the US government’s official position that Kosovo is still an “autonomous” province of Yugoslavia. But DioGuardi goes one step – indeed, several steps – further, and envisions a “Greater Albania.” Visitors to AACL’s website are confronted with a map of this Albanian Empire, which, as Doug Bandow of the Cato Institute said in his testimony before Congress, illustrates “a breathtaking agenda,” including as it does “Albania, Kosovo, western Macedonia (along with its capital, Skopje), southeastern Montenegro (along with its capital, Podgorica), northern Greece, and southern Serbia (north of Kosovo).” A comment found in Alexander Cockburn’s Counterpunch newsletter on this outrageous map hit the nail on the head......

Although the McCain campaign piously denied it, it has since come out that they were responsible for phone calls during the Michigan primary, run ostensibly by a group called “Catholic Voter Alert,” which demanded to know why Bush had not disavowed the rhetoric of Bob Jones and his flock about the church being “a Satanic cult’! This from the campaign McCain piously described to his followers as “one you can be proud of”! “

John McCain armed Kosovo Islamic terrorists

Excerpt:

Senate resolution - which McCain wrote - extends thanks to the Albanians for "saving all the Jews who lived in Albania or who sought shelter there during the Nazi Holocaust"..... McCain omitted the important fact - Albania was under Italian occupation and Italy did not persecute the Jews. that's why the Jews survived. In Kosovo, Albanian hunted down Jews, the same as they hunted Serbs. Today, Kosovo is JUDENREIN.

Albanian manipulation of the documented historical facts is pure Holocaust revisionism and McCain is Holocaust revisionist if he supports it.

John McCain armed Kosovo Islamic terrorists

"He did everything that we asked of him, including arming the KLA", said Albanian lobbyist Joe DioGuardi. The Albanians collected one million dollars for the presidential campaign of this senator.

Juan McCain— er, John McCain has shown himself to be of questionable loyalty to the nation’s principles on more than a few occasions, especially on the immigration issue. He also seems to be a little too cozy with the Islamofascists in the Balkans, despite the fact that those same Islamofascists helped to train the 9/11 attackers against the USA. (The KLA is allied with al-Qaida.)

Among the current crop of candidates, Chuck Baldwin seems to be the only one who actually cares about the US Constitution and standing up for the rule of law, a true representative of the Constitution Party. He’s probably got my vote. The Republican Party declared war on their base by railroading out true Republicans like Ron Paul in favor the RINOs who’ve been ruining our party. Even if it means that a moron like Obama gets elected, I don’t care— it’ll be the one opportunity to finally push Republicans to clean house and kick out the RINOs like McCain. Our party and our country cannot afford them. I won’t be casting a vote for McCain at all, considering his record.
