The Obama camp cannot fight on more than one front at a time. They’re making a big deal out of this book while getting pounded on taxes, energy, and Georgia elsewhere. I’d say Corsi hit a nerve.

You are right. On SEARCHWARP.COM where people can write articles with comments. There are smears of President Bush, and John McCain galore. One guy is writing a bunch of articles that Kynzer (author of A BIZARRE ELECTION and WHY THE VOTE ON DRILLING IN US HAS BEEN STALLED, and a few others are trying to to refute the garbage with comments, but he keeps bashing the right. Please freep some of these right bashing articles, with good, politically sensible comments...thanks.

It would be great if some of the Freepers would check out those politcal articles, and make these leftist liberals look silly. Its a place that is well read, and could make a dent in independents thinking. Some of the good writers on here should submit some positive articles. Another place to get writing comments for a good effect on the election is Ezinearticles. so let’s get the word out on websites that will reach those who are undecided. Thanks people.

Places to go: Mashable.com
The Huffington Post
Searchwarp.com
Ezinearticles.com
any of social networking sites

ps We are preaching to the choir here at FR. NOT MUCH TIME LEFT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

The man is sleazier than a personal injury lawyer. Paul Waldman. He is from the soros funded organization.

C-Span condition the appearance with a 1 conservative (corsi) to 2 leftists (waldman, and obama)

They are using big lie theory, just keep saying the book is a lie.

Media Matters is trying to morph this as attackign “the Obama” is a lie period.

It seems the left is now trying to run out the clock to block conservatives from calling in. C-Span is even doing direct links to media matters, no comensurate link to corsi or conservative sites on this.

sad day for cspan when balance with is 1 conservative to 2 leftists.

c-span had corsi.

so Media Matters had called ahead and demanded THEY would get equal time with corsi.

corsi was told the ONLY way he would be allowed on c-span is if he allowed TWO (yes TWO) counters to him. One from media matters (soros) and one from the Obama camp (black liberation theology).

NO MCCAIN.

NO CONSERVATIVE THINK TANK.

I just hope the documentary based on the book comes out soon.

I’m plowing through the Corsi book now so I can’t judge it yet, but the Obama campaign is making a classic blunder here. The lesson they learned from Kerry is to respond early and hard.

Problem is, they are OVERreacting like a junior high cheerleader in a bitchslapping contest.

Forty-one pages of rebuttal? Shrill, glass-shattering squeals of protest?

Methinks they doth protest too much.

Obama PANIC is a better word.

They KNEW all this stuff was going to come out.

However rapid response to a real live lie would work.

Calling the TRUTH a lie will never work over the long term because the truth always trumps the lie.

The “rapid response” is just point the finger and saying liar liar pants on fire. (or did not have sex with that woman or repeatedly stating it is a national enquirer lie or i did not pay attention to what rev wright was really saying) Truth trumps rapid response goons.

... and any "substantive" argument about the message goes like this:

What Smears?

What lies?

"All that Internet stuff."

By October, the new Media Matters meme will be “old news”

The fact that camp Obama had a panic attack on this assures this will NEVER be “old news.”

This election our attack must be done in a different way. You see FR was very instrumental in 2000 & 2004, however it has been infiltrated. Also, C-Span and other places will not give a fair time to conservatives or opposers of Obama...it isn’t a fair game anymore due to the media’s plan to rule and pick the winner. Circumvent the media, and use the internet sites frequented by moderate dems and independents. The promotion of “the Obama Nation” has been done through some comments on The Huffington Post and other liberal sites..lol

The real impact is to get on sites that have a huge viewership of independents and Hillary supporters like Searchwarp.com and EzineArticles. These people read the articles on the election, oil and economic problems. They email them to their friends. We will not be effective in the old ways, but FR is great for us to discuss among ourselves the politics of the day. It will not however sway the undecided, unless they stumple upon this site. If you can search for sites that write articles and make sound arguments on the facts to write an article, or comment on an article written...use websites with large viewership. It’s public domain, use it. We only have a couple of months to do this.

The more the OBAMAMITES promote that Corsi’s book is a lie, then the more people will buy it. Remember Shakespeare “me thinks the lady doth protest too much”...it will be seen as FEAR from Obama campaign, because there are 6-7 books out opposing Obama, so WHY ONLY CORSI’S book under attack? It is on Best Seller list, and democrats in my family are waiting in line to read it...as the family copy is being passed around. Do not fear, it will be like trying to harness a slick pig to hurt Corsi...the prayers covering him are being answered. The man will be blessed for writing it, as will the other authors.

IF WE ACT NOW, and DO OUR PART to spread the word, and refute those bloggers with facts, and those right bashing articles on public websites we can comment; or write our own articles in response , it will be amazing the impact. Let’s roll!

Now, Freepers please get out on cyberville to the social sites used by Dems and promote truth. You don’t have to like Bush, but you can appreciate the fact that we haven’t had a major attack since 9/11, and the surge has worked so let’s defend conservatism. Even if you don’t vote for McCain at least oppose the OBAMAFASCINATION with facts. Thanks. If you have a ping list, then please help with promoting this attack on the enemies of freedom.

RIGHT NOW the democrats are using this type of networking to get voters and promote the OBAMANATION! Pass this on:
To understand what I am talking about please read the article “Is the election being won on FACEBOOK”

The absurd fact is Media Matters is portrayed as “non partisan” when in fact it is 100% biased to the left.

The sylogisms work likethis

Media Matters is a nonpartisan observer.
Media Matters says Obama Nation is by a Liar.
Obama Nation is by a liar is a non partisan observation.

ANY outlet, including c-span, that has media matters as nonpartisan is only diminishing their credibility.

This is where the POWER OF OUR PERSONAL EMAIL LISTS COMES INTO PLAY. You have to consider how much viral power we at FR have.

If we are separated from everyone by 6.2 degrees then we had FR can reach our connections by FR to the 6.2 power. one contacts 6.2 who all contact 6.2 who all contact 6.2 ....

Our contacts are PERSONAL unlike the dinosaur media which is press release driven and journalisticly incompetent. (sorry Wolf, your one way communication is obsolete)

Places like YouTube should be ground zero. Like it or not, a lot of people get their information from there. We have to be tactful and get the message across without letting ourselves get pulled down to the emotional levels the other side engages in. Also, keep in mind they will respond by bringing up another accusation to distract from the point you were making, or respond in a way as to change the context of the discussion - strongly, yet tactfully, point this out and move the discussion back to where it started - make them address your point.

Get your HAZMAT on, Suit Up, and let’s make a difference now, while they are still whining about Corsi’s book. Let’s hit, hit, hit, so they have so many holes they don’t know who to attack next. IT needs to be “an all hands on deck” assault! We’ve only got a few weeks, so let’s not waste time. I’m writing everywhere I can...but I’m only one person, so any and all are appreciated.

It has to come from all sides. If you can do UTUBE videos, do it. If you can write articles on public sites, do it. If you can comment on bash articles against us, do it. Make it AN ALL FRONTS ATTACK. THERE ARE MORE INTELLIGENT AMONG US THAN THEM...go people, now is the time to steamroll the dems, and don’t let them catch their breath.

YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN will thank you for participating if we can defeat them at their own tactics of trying to influence the internet.

So many FR’s are talented, and can do videos, plus use pics in OBAMATRUTHFILE on FR, with articles of info not being used by Elite Media. Absolutely, we have to be tactful and use truthful points that dispute what they are saying.
If I could use UTUBE I would, but writing is my best weapon, since I am somewhat electronically challenged. My blogs are a struggle at times. Thanks for your input, it’s right on.

We can also start up free websites in geocities.com Basic knowledge of html code is all one needs to make pages there. It’s really kool to have your own home page with your favorite links anyway— such as checking for weather, your favorite spots, even searches of some of your FReeper friends if you like.

Then every time you click to your home page, it increases your search engine positioning. Also, you can mention things about Obama Nation. That way, as the search engine position [of positive messages] increases, it will cause the postitioning of negative messages to get buried. Clever FReepers can swap private messages about how to raise their search engine positioning— which is key in something like this.

[Since I suggested this, please don’t private message me any questions. But you can google-search for tips on how to increase your search engine positioning.]

Paul Waldman of Media Matters said Swift Boat Veterans are liars.

Paul Waldman

And he is working with an ADMITTED LIAR, David Brock!

A declaration of war

This week, the conservatives declared war.

Not on The New York Times. Not even on the media in general. No, this week the entire conservative movement -- from the White House to Republicans in Congress to Fox News to right-wing talk radio to conservative magazines -- declared war on the very idea of an independent press.

They declared war on the idea that journalists have not just the right but the obligation to hold those in power accountable for their actions. They declared war on the idea that journalists, not the government and not a political party, get to decide what appears in the press. They declared war on the idea that the public has a right to know what the government is doing in our name.

This is a profound threat to our democracy, and we underestimate it at our peril.

Here at Media Matters for America, we spend a great deal of time pointing out the news media's faults and missteps. But we do so because we believe in journalism, because we want journalism to fulfill its sacred obligations to the public, because we know that even in the world's oldest democracy, a free press is what stands between us and tyranny. The right wing, to put it plainly, does not share this belief.

There is a reason the Founders singled out the press for special protection when they wrote the Bill of Rights. It was because they understood that without an independent, free, aggressive, courageous press, democracy itself is impossible. When the government decides who gets to report the news and what they get to say, we no longer live in a free society. When journalists live under threat of prosecution and even violence, we cease to be citizens and become only subjects.

The right has kept the media under constant assault for decades, and the response from the media has been to bend over backward to prove they aren't biased -- by being harder on Democrats. They should have learned long ago that the "liberal bias" charge has absolutely nothing to do with the content of the news. It is a political strategy, a way of "working the ref" and providing easy excuses for public rejection of the right's goals. But what we have seen this week is something qualitatively different.

Given the constant drumbeat of criticism directed at the media from conservatives, it might be easy to dismiss this latest expulsion of bile as just more of the same. But it's worth stepping back to take a look at exactly what has occurred over the past week. Members of Congress have suggested revoking the Capitol Hill credentials of journalists, so that only news organizations that do not displease the ruling party may be permitted to report from Congress. Other members have accused members of the media of "treason" and advocated their prosecution. A conservative television and radio personality suggested that the government establish an Office of Censorship to screen the news. Another said, "I would have no problem with [New York Times editor Bill Keller] being sent to the gas chamber." The House of Representatives passed a resolution saying it "expects the cooperation of all news media organizations."

In short, the right assembled a posse this week -- vigilantes stalking television studios, radio airwaves, print, and the Internet, their apparent goal to revoke the First Amendment.

Yes, Paul Waldman, is a LIAR!!!

Big surprise! /s
