Barack Obama and John McCain are scheduled to make a joint appearance Saturday at Saddleback Church in Orange County, Calif.
No other candidates have been invited, which has ticked off Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr.
Russ Verney, campaign manager for the former Georgia congressman, has just sent out a mass e-mail saying Barr will seek a court order to require the church to invite him, too.
Which perhaps is an odd thing for a Libertarian to do asking a judge to determine whom a church should invite into its sanctuary.

Go home Bob.
Bob Barr is no libertarian. First praising AlGore's work on globull warming, now this. He's a fraud.
Barr can sit in the crowd and cheer on Obama as Barr’s views are more in line with Obama.
Barr the ACLU employee, anti war, global warmer, pro gay marriage, 9/11 Truther
What the hell happened to Bob Barr?.............he used to be a sane person............or so we were led to believe...............
Maybe Larry Flint got more on Barr than we thought, who knows?
Barr turned into a 911 Truther?
When did that happen? I honestly don’t recall hearing about that...?
Either way, Bob needs to go home and watch the show on TV.
magine Bob Barr could sit in a pew
If you let Barr in, you’d have to include Cynthia McKinney as well. That would make it far more interesting . . .
aclu boob barr will draw votes from barack mcgovern. He will get the votes of the Archie Bunker Democrats who can’t vote bring themselves to vote for “ the colored guy or a Republican.” talk of aclu boob getting 15 in Georgia is laughable. He had to drop out of the GOP Senate primary a few years back because of the aclu connection. I know because when we were still friends, I personally helped him see how impossible it would be for him to win. The regular rats won’t touch him because they will ALWAYS see him as a Republican no matter what he calls himself.
It is possible that Barr could get Saddleback’s tax exempt status revoked over this. By limiting the event to only 2 political parties, the church could be seen as endorsing those candidates over others, which would be a violation of the tax laws.
A Libertarian ACLU member demanding entrance into a church?
Oh the delicious irony.
