UK officials: Christian Bale will not face charges

LONDON (AP) --Batman star Christian Bale will not face charges relating to an alleged assault on his mother and sister at the Dorchester Hotel on July 20, British prosecutors said Thursday.
The country's Crown Prosecution Service said in a statement that there was insufficient evidence to afford a "realistic prospect of conviction" and ordered the police not to take any further action in the case.

Odd thing is, I am not a fan of the series, but I remember that this happened on opening night in the UK.
Christian Bale has a reputation of being a very nice guy. I was really glad to hear this.
Some people are just determined to believe the worst even if there’s solid proof to the contrary. No pleasing that type. So phooey upon them.
Christian seems to be a pretty good guy. He handled this situation a lot better than I would have, that’s for sure. I wish him well & am ready to see him in T4.
