I don’t know what NBC is supposed to do? Stop showing games?

Soft peddling? Really? In the middle of US vs Japan women’s volleyball game, the announcers did mention that the father of a former US volleyball team member was killed...They mentioned that today was a sad day for US volleyball. I guess the announcers could have chosen not to mention the murder during the match...

A few hours later, the NBC people mentioned that the US men’s volleyball coach will miss the first game. They mentioned that his father-in-law was murdered...

I am not a fan of NBC...I dislike many of their employees like Keith Oberman and Chris Matthews...But, in this case, I am not sure that NBC is screwing up the coverage.

Viewership will plunge? I wonder if the viewership went down after the bombing at the Atlanta Olympics...Remember, one woman was killed in the bombing.

Montag's wife says she thinks the Chinese authorities ordered this murder, in order to shake up the U.S. team and cost us medals, in line with China's "Project 119".

Thoughts?
