Boehner: GOP will be here 'every day until she brings us back'

A defiant House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said Republicans will continue their floor protest on gas prices, including during both the GOP and Democratic national conventions, until they get a vote allowing more offshore drilling.

Boehner also claimed that Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Democratic incumbents will pay a political price on Election Day if they don't allow such a vote.

In an inteview on Friday, Boehner said Republicans will stay on the floor "every day until she brings us back, until the Speaker brings us back. Every day."

Boehner portrayed Pelosi, who has opposed more offshore drilling throughout her career, as blocking the "will of the American people," since recent polls shows widespread support for new offshore drilling, even in areas like California and Florida, long off limits to such activities due to environmental concerns.

"You can't thwart the will of the American people. Our system of government doesn't allow it," Boehner said. "When people speak up, this place responds."

While this is all well placed, the GOP has consistency problems. What about the five RINOs and the five Rats that introduced a watered-down, joke of a bill to “placate” the libs? The GOP has serious problems with its RINOs. This “GANG OF TEN” contains none other Linsay Grahanesty and other RINOs. Will this legislation ever make it through? Hard to say, but it is a joke, a sham, and DILUTES THE REAL POLITICAL CAMPAIGN ISSUE FOR THE GOP of energy prices and drilling as a key strategy.

So the GOP continues to fight groups of RINOs, similar to the “Campaign Election Reform” and “Gang of Fourteen” scenarios where they shoot down their own would-be positions of conservatism, Constitutional-protection and American freedoms. On this one, these ass-clowns are clearly pandering to the libs AGAIN.
