A Washington-based anti-tax advocacy videotaped supporters of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign who support $10 per gallon gas during a protest stand-off Tuesday.

Ed Frank, vice president of public affairs for Americans for Prosperity, spoke to Obama supporters during an event organized on Capitol Hill by liberally-leaning MoveOn.org. According to an email MoveOn emailed to supporters the event was designed to “highlight the GOP’s extensive ties to Big Oil.”

The Obamaniacs really do want to destroy the economy and out way of life. Just read this and watch the video. I left the Knoxville, TN chapter of the Sierra Club over 10 yers ago because I saw too much of this Luddite Marxism at every meeting.

And there you have it. If the left can succeed in demonizing the big oil companies, and tax them enough to cripple their competitive advantages, then Occidental Petroleum, the ALGORE's oil company can step into their vacuum.

Since it's his company (well, to fair, it's not entirely his, but it is very largely controlled by him and his family), he'll get a pass from the greenie watermelons because he's their idol, and he'll promise to buy carbon credits (from yet another of his companies) to offload his guilt onto some third-world cesspool.

He'll answer the call to "drill here, drill now" by starting up all of the idle wells that OXY bought up in the Permian Basin when the price per barrel fell out the bottom in the 80's, and then he'll make a mountain of money off both ends of his tidy little con.

He's gonna scam 'em all, and we're along for the ride. Good Lord, I can't stand that man! He's a huckster and con man of the first order. Bill Clinton looks like a bumbling frat boy in comparison (OK, he is a bumbling frat boy, but...!!).

They will not be happy until we are all driving horses and buggies and living like the people of India did twenty years ago. They may gain power but it will be to a nation reduced to poverty and want.

What someone needs to do is haul a tanker of fuel in and sell that fuel at 10 bucks a gallon and see how many actual supporters there are. It would be interesting.

$10 gallons of gas is no problem for Obama.
After all, Americans have been driving around on flat tires for all these years.
Obama has already ended our dependence on foreign oil just by telling stupid Americans to inflate their tires. Now that they are getting this great gas mileage, They can afford $10 for a gallon of gas - all gas tax of course.
