SOARES' TROOPERGATE SWILL (the face of corrupt Third World justice)

Albany DA David Soares sought to put the Troopergate scandal to rest (Spitzer siccing state troopers on elected officials like a Third World generalissimo). Soares reluctantly released 8,562 pages of documents from his two Troopergate probes.....that show Soares treated then-Gov. Spitzer with kid gloves and totally whitewashed the role of Spitzer and his aides in the plot to use State Police to smear elected officials......the Public Integrity Commission, found at least four (if not more) top Spitzer aides broke the law. Troopergate has grown well beyond the smear campaign and long ago became a scandal of coverup - Soares' own role in that part of the affair has yet to be addressed. Soares wants to "move on." Folks with something to hide usually do.

Ashley Dupre turns out to be a godsend for Gnu Yak. That pipsqueak thug Boss Eliot is gone, and good riddance. David Paterson is a 1000% improvement, and that is NOT saying much. We need to vote EVERYONE out of Albany and institute strict legislative and gubernatorial term limits.

Paterson is actually CUTTING EXPENSES in New York budget!!!

I may even vote for him if he keeps this up.

Don’t believe it for two seconds. Patterson is a weakling and was called Governor See No Evil. He has no vision for the state and will just help push it further towards the fiscal train wreck that it has become. Disaster for NY is just around the corner. Until there is a massive restructuring in the way that the state does business and a dramatic scaling back of entitlement programs, the state is doomed. Patterson is just a typical dim. Once the republicans lose the senate its all over. Shelley Silver will be running things and hundreds of thousands will vote with their feet, fleeing to Florida and other low tax environs.
