FWIW I did sign the petition. I think a march on DC with truckers blocking everything looking with a massive crowd like when Martin Luther King came visiting is what is really called for. A Rally To Take Back Our Government.

Republicans would do well to NOT be called back to Washington to pass this "compromised" legislation at this point. There's more mileage to be had out of this issue by going into the general election with this issue being hung around the necks of the Dimocrat party and Pelosi/Reid and Obama.

By about mid-October the Liberals (of both parties) will be so desperate to get out from under this (party damaginhg) issue that we can get more for enabling legislation and probably drilling in ANWR with a lot less compromise.

Pelosi thinks she has a mandate being the third most important leader in the country. It has completely gone to her head. In her mind, gas/oil, is destroying the environment and that is enough reason to restrict use, and not permit a vote on drilling.

In our minds, we realize that gas/oil right now is necessary to heat our homes and drive our cars to work, school, ect. ect. We understand there are alot of things that ruin the environment, and it is important to conserve energy, and find different ways of creating energy.

If Americans do not tap into their own supply of gas/oil, in due time someone else will. It is our property Madam Pelosi, not yours. The people want to expand exploration of oil/gas in America. It's not that much to ask.

We need more Republicans in Congress, people, vote Republican this November, and we can remove her as Speaker.
