We gathered on the north side of Lafayette Square at 2:30 to scope out the terrain. The moonbats had permitted Lafayette Square and the sidewalk in front of the White House. Not that the less than 100 Out of Iran and pro-Palestinian groups needed that much space. All in all, their small group looked pitiful in light of their claim that a majority of Americans supported their anarchical views. Even when the moonbats persuaded some on lookers to march with them for a short time, they were pitiful.
For you D.C. FReepers, the regulars were there, Squeegie, Princess (in leather drag), Wuke, and Chief Grumpy from Olney. The head Code Pinkos were noticeably absent. I guess after their failed attempt to get us out of Iraq, they didnt want to support another failed leftist cause.
We had all of Pennsylvania Avenue to spread out on. Our group of Patriots included 3DJoy, BufordP, Cindy_True_Supporter, DaveLoneRanger, Eager, Fraxinus, Pasquale, RongKirby, sauropod, [Mrs] Trooprally (aka [Mrs] T), myself and two Vets.
Pics and videos for this report were by [Mrs] T
As everyone knows, it takes only one FReeper or Eagle to rain on the moonbats parade, no matter how many moonbats show up. Our group did a great job today. We were able to walk around Pennsylvania Avenue, talking to the crowd, verbally attacking the moonbats message and just giving them a hard time. The only American flags on Pennsylvania Avenue this day were ours. We also had a lot of tourists who had their pictures taken with out signs. WE had a good time, but not sure if the moonbats did.
The moonbats held signs about No Sanctions. Well, the complain that Bush was a cowboy in Iraq, and now that he is going through the UN and has sanctions on Iran, they still complain. They just have an un-health hatred of Bush and the U.S.
Several of our signs were courteously provided by FReeper davidlachnicht who has a really great collection of posters for our use. Close ups of the ones we used are below.
The below poster was changed a little. We replaced the ! after Iraq with a check mark, and put IRAN ? To the right. You can see Cindy_True_Supporter holding it in our group picture.

These are the other two we used:

There was one poster that no one used. It was from the Carter era. It said:
Made In America
Tested In Japan
Harm One Nation
Well Drop It On Iran
5+ Minute Video HERE on a new conservative site called EYEBLAST.TV. [Mrs] T had to swat away the bull horn from the loud mouthed Code Pinko when she got too close. There was an officer close by, watching the action, who told the Pinko to move back after [Mrs] T defended her space. We also had [Mrs] Ts back so if the officer didnt step in, we would have. But [Mrs] T was holding her own.
And a 2+ Minute Video HERE
HERE is the photo file for the day.
BELOW: The Initial FReeper Roll Call of Patriots (L-R): Me, RongKirby, Fraxinus, Eager, BufordP and Cindy_True_Supporter. While holding the U.S./Marine flag pole, Eager had a lot of Vets come up to him and thank him for being there. While not a Vet himself, he was a forensic police office until being medically retired.

BELOW: The Final Roll Call of Patriots (L-R): Eager, RongKirby (also GoE), sauropod, Vet, DaveLoneRanger, Fraxinus, BufordP (in shadows), Vet, [Mr] Trooprally (me), Cindy_True_Supporter, 3DJoy. Pasquale had already left. Davidlachnicht signs were on the back of BufordPs large signs and on several smaller poster size signs. The No Nukes For Kooks sign has a picture of Ahmadinejad.

BELOW: Moonbats/anarchists at their first coming out of the closet moment, heading from Lafayette Square to the White House sidewalk.

BELOW LEFT: RongKirby being not-so-covert. BELOW RIGHT: RongKirby: Just having some fun officer. Cant let them Protest Warriors all the fun

BELOW LEFT: Sauropod and Pasquale. Pasquales sign says Remember the Embassy - 1979" with a picture of the U.S. hostages. BELOW RIGHT: DaveLoneRanger and me.

BELOW LEFT: Two Vets who joined us taling to a moonbat. Yes, that is one of my good smoking cigars the Vet on the right has. BELOW RIGHT: BufordP coming into frame on left, Cindy_True_Supporter (dark shirt) standing next to 3DJoy with flag, and Sauropod with How About sign.

BELOW LEFT: The Palestinians were there. BELOW RIGHT: The idiots who dont know that we are not at war with Iran.

BELOW: The leftist complained about Bush being a cowboy, so he had the UN put sanctions on Iran. And a blockade is still a non-violent option. Now they dont even like what their beloved UN is doing.

BELOW LEFT: Chief Grumpy was there. (Right side of frame in dark shirt). BELOW RIGHT: Any one remember her from the Olney FReep on Sept. 06,2006? She had cut n run long ago from there.

For anyone who doesn't know, the so-called "anti-war" group International A.N.S.W.E.R. was formed by leaders of the Workers World Party (and mere days after the 911 attacks). WWP is a collection of pro-North Korea Stalinists based in New York City. When A.N.S.W.E.R. was eventually outed as a communist front, WWP started up a new "peace" group called Troops Out Now. Democrat chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Charlie Rangel, actually gives speeches at their rallies and the New York City media looks the other way -also is never confronted by Hannity or O'Reilly about it, despite his almost weekly appearances on their programs. Other prominent lefties who spoke at the rally were the former attorney general under democrat president LBJ, Ramsey Clark , and Lynne Stewart , convicted of aiding islamic terrorists. Clark heads the International Action Center and had a major role in the formation of A.N.S.W.E.R. As stated above, all three organizations, The International Action Center, Troops Out Now and Workers World Party have headquarters at the same exact location in New York City.

For a small taste of who the WWP is, and what they believe in, the following is from their website (workers.org)...
"On July 9 (1994), Workers World Party Chairperson Sam Marcy sent the following statement to Comrade Kim Jong Il, the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea and the State Funeral Committee of President Kim Il Sung.":
"Dear Comrade Kim Jong Il ...
The National Committee of Workers World Party extends our deepest condolences on the passing of the great leader of the Korean people, Comrade President Kim Il Sung.
Comrade Kim Il Sung devoted his whole life to the Korean people's struggle for national self-determination and the international working-class struggle for socialist emancipation. With his leadership, the Korean people defeated the Japanese colonial occupation and soon after brought about the first defeat of the U.S. imperialist military machine.
For over 40 years since the armistice, the U.S. military has continued to occupy the south of Korea with troops and nuclear weapons. This occupation has been the chief obstacle to peaceful reunification of Korea and poses the chief danger of a new war on the peninsula." ...
"Workers World Party values our close, comradely relations with the Workers Party of Korea very highly. We are proud to have known Kim Il Sung as a great leader and a comrade in the international communist movement. ...
With comradely solidarity, Sam Marcy Chairperson, Workers World Party":

Here, also from the Workers World Party website (workers.org), is a direct link to the set of photos showing Ramsey Clark, Lynne Stewart and current democrat chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Charlie Rangel, all at the Workers World Party/Troops Out Now event on March 19, 2005. The occasion marked the 2nd anniversary of the start of the Iraq war:

Ach! I love you guys.
Good job, all!!! Thanks for the report and pics.
Thank you, from the bottom of my grateful heart.
Nice. Looks like the bats were desurged.
BTT. Good job!
Why aren’t more conservatives taking a more aggressive aim at socialists in this country? A passing mention is heard on the talk shows, but little more. We need to make more noise about it.
Socialism is a disease in need of a cure.
Hopefully, we won’t have to go “ON TO IRAN.” I find the apparent enthusiasm for attacking Iran displayed on those signs disturbing. Hopefully Douglas Feith did not submit any sign ideas.
If Nancy-Girl would allow a vote on drilling, with a following vote in the Senate, we could enjoy Iran’s loss of nuke funding as the price of oil dropped. Repealing the Carter-era exec. order against assassinations would be nice, too. After all, the order did not stop Saddam from trying to kill GHW Bush. We should have that option, as well.
Ping - You are now famous. Thanks for coming out Saturday and helping out.
[Mr] T
Thank you all for the kudos from the D.C. Chapter Patriots. We did have a good time giving the moonbats a hard time and taking away from their air time as the media asked us for interviews. Also, Sun wasn’t too hot and rain held off till we were in our cars.
[Mr] T
Thanks for the info and links. Always good to have the right links to present arguments with the moonbats.
[Mr] T
I wouldn't gamble our national security on the Iranians running out of money. That's crazy.
“Enthusiasm” has to be part of our bargaining chip. If our enemies think that we are carring a limp stick, we are lost before we start.
[Mr] T
I don't know. And these bums (Workers World Party) are the worse of the worse. Actually, they and the Revolutionary Communist Party are about tied, at least as far as the large and influential commie groups go. Much of the problem is that most of us lead normal productive lives and have jobs and family, etc, while these people are often spoiled and angry brats, or just plain nuts. But as that old 60s era song went: "You don't know what you got 'til it's gone".
Can I bring an “Assassinate Imanutjob” sign, or would that be too forward?
Not completely, anyhow. Blockading their gasoline imports is another option (just throwing it out there).
Great report! Boy that was fun!
Great show Trooprally and all those who stood up.
You gotta love those signs (ours, that is)!
God bless all of you for standing against the nutjobs.
What fun!
I never counted more than 29 of them marching around in circles at one time...add a few organizers and when they marched to the park for their pitiful rally it seemed 40 max.
I felt sorry for that little dog walking on the hot pavement...the woman was hot so had an umbrella, but did not care about the dog!
I guess they had a few people follow them to listen to their lies...I wonder if any heads exploded? LOL
Thanks MrT for the report, and MrsT for the pictures and video. You do a great job organizing these events. Thanks from all of FR!
Just a note about counter-protest posters in general:
For many of these folks, there is a fine line between carrying a poster that explicitly details how you feel about an issue, and carrying a sign for the sole purpose of pissing-off liberals.
One of my favorites from long ago was “Iron My Shirt B!atch”. While I’m sure the fellow who raised that sign at a feminist rally truly appreciated a fine crease, I doubt he brought his laundry expecting full-service.
The sign choice a person makes depend on their passion, their politics and even their sense of humor.
You’re welcome, and of course correct. Simply calling them “commies” doesn’t get us anywhere. In fact, it frequently does more harm than good, since most people (those who are clueless about the communist movement, then and now) who we say these things to often laugh at the suggestion. But if you can provide them with the straight-from-the-horse’s-mouth evidence supporting your accusations, it should have a profound positive impact on them. At least I would like to think so.
You guys are the absolute best!!
I was checking out the photo file and could always tell the good guys from the bad guys in the thumbnails by the American flags.
Please keep up the good work.
Count me in if you guys decide to do something at U of M this fall!
“The real terrorists in the world today are the National guard and cia”?
Is that what the circle of retards are chanting?
I still don't get why the moonbats are protesting a war in Iran.
We're not even in Iran. Are they geographically challenged, among all of those other wonderful attributes they possess?
I'm not calling them commies. I'm just protesting communism in general.
I meant telling others that they're communists, *without providing them the smoking gun evidence to prove it*, doesn't get us anywhere. Most people today have been conditioned by the liberal leftist media to think the whole idea is a joke, something only 'paranoid' people believe.
They apparently get their marching orders from Moscow well in advance of any action we might take on one of their allies. Russia and China despised the idea of a US-friendly Iraq, but will really go nuts if their buddies in Iran (and their nuke facilities) are attacked. They, China and the islamo nut jobs are all in this together against the West.
Oh, I understand that. I just think it's funny that the moonbats are so desperate to protest a war that they choose one that doesn't even exist.
Yet.
The bats did the same thing right after 911. They demanded we not attack Afghanistan. And also before the Iraq war. But of course these groups aren't really "anti-war", but rather pro-communist and anti-capitalist.
Yes, I even participated in FReeping A.N.S.W.E.R anti-war rallies shortly before Operation Iraqi Freedom began. (And boy, was that fun!) But we already had war plans at the time and it was clear to everyone that it was going to happen.
Iran remains a mystery. At least as of now, it does.
You guys rock! I can’t seem to get eyeblast to open, but am working on it. I know Mrs. T held her own without seeing any video. You kick pinko butt, girl!
You guys rock! I can’t seem to get eyeblast to open, but am working on it. I know Mrs. T held her own without seeing any video. You kick pinko butt, girl!
We cut ANSWER’s numbers significantly by exposing them as communists and quoting their flyers and websites.
Don’t be afraid to say they are communists. There’s plenty of backup. Just tell people to look around www.PSLweb.org and see for themselves. That’s the website for the group behind ANSWER.
That loser stands NO chance being bookended by them.
I'm not afraid. I have enough evidence mounted on my FR Home page and facts in my head to convince even the dopiest know-nothing out there. What I said was that if someone **without the evidence** makes such claims about them or even Obama's people (his mentors, supporters and advisers), or the democrat party in general, that they will likely be laughed at and treated as delusional or paranoid. In today's climate, calling someone a "communist" (again, without the proper evidence) usually gets YOU (the accuser) labeled the nut.
And resources such as FoxNews, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingram, etc, actually do very little to help support the 'claim' and make the necessary connections. They miss so many opportunities it's ridiculous. I remember just prior to the 2004 Republican Convention in NYC, Laura Ingram having Leslie Cagan on her radio program. Ingram didn't seem to have a clue in the world who Cagan was. She didn't even get the name of her "anti-war" group correct. She called it "United for Justice and Peace". Didn't ask her a thing about her communist ideology or longtime support for communist causes. BTW, the co-chair of United for Peace and Justice, Judith LeBlanc, is the vice chair of Communist Party USA. And Cagan is the founder, and at least former chair (perhaps still?) of an org called Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. The CCDS is an old offshoot of CPUSA. UFPJ led a massive protest in the streets outside the 2004 Republican Convention (Madison Square Garden). Perhaps 250,000 or more 'useful idiots' attended and marched alongside the communists.
More recently, while subbing for Bill O'Reilly on the Factor, Ingram interviewed a young woman named Sunsara Taylor. Again, didn't have a clue. Got into NONE of her personal history or background. Sunsara Taylor happens to be a leading spokesperson for the org "World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime". WCW is a known front for the Revolutionary Communist Party. Taylor writes columns for the RCP newspaper 'Revolution'(on paper and online). Taylor once, a few years earlier, actually appeared on Hannity and Colmes wearing a Revolutionary Communist Party Youth Brigade t-shirt! (had an emblem similar to this below, except for the "Atlanta")

and STILL no one at FoxSnooze informed Ingram, subbing on the O'Reilly Factor, who should have known anyway, who this person was?? And all Hannity did at the time was merely ask Taylor "what's that you're wearing"? and left it at that. Like the interview he did with Reverend Wright in March 2007, he was completely in the dark about the revolutionary communist movement. As we all here know (I hope), Black Liberation Theology is all about revolutionary communism.
Ok, I've rambled enough. Here is the link to my FR Home page:

Ingraham and O’Reilly get their linch eaten every time the go up against these people, especially Code Pink. What’s worse is they do not review information sent to them.
