KOGO AM Radio ^

Posted on 08/04/2008 5:13:56 PM PDT by NordP
Just now listening to Roger Hedgecock's KOGO AM radio show. Hedgecock is interviewing Congressman Brian Bilbray and former Presidential hopeful and Congressman Duncan Hunter about the vote for drilling in Washington, D.C. and Pelosi shuting down the House.
Hunter and Bilbray are reporting that regular citizens are now being invited to sit in the actual chairs of the no-show Democrats of the House--an action that may never have happened in American history.
Congressman Hunter wants to get a number of our nation's Truckers to come to D.C. and have their voices heard, too! After all...he says, it's the people's House!!!

Taxpayers pay for the chamber and the light bills —keep the chamber lit —keep it open!
Tough on Princess Pelosi —this is the PEOPLE’s HOUSE - it doesn’t belong to her to do as she will.

If you recall...it was Congressman Duncan Hunter who brought every reporter in to see the "cuisine" those at GITMO were being treated to...Lemon Chicken, etc. He brought the food in and invited them to taste it! It was great!!!
I LOVE HUNTER'S STYLE!

Some of us are so mad, we've written to our Rep about this. Told him that now is the time for a “March on Washington”, but with gas prices so high, we cannot afford to. And with our state bleeding jobs, can't take the time from work.
In an “Scully, I think it's a conspiracy” way, I bet this makes the Dems happy. Lord knows what they'd do to their fancy pants if they had to actually face some of their disgruntled constituents!

This is so hot!!
I just wish I could be home where I could listen to it.
Laura Ingraham was interviewing Pence this morning and you could hear the people cheering and clapping - it was just awesome.
Normally, when you enter the House Chamber, you are not allowed to speak or do anything - they have security that keeps people under tight control. And .. as a citizen, you are never allowed on the floor of the House Chamber - only elected reps are allowed to be there.
To know regular Americans are sitting in the chairs which are normally occupied by dems .. that must be a sight to behold. Wow! I wish I was there.
In September, Roger Hedgecock is taking one of his “Hold Their Feet to the Fire” trips. I went on one of those trips (March 2001), and it was a true blast. Everyone should do that .. it stirs something inside you. Reps and senators are very impressed when regular people show up there to lobby them - especially when they find out you financed the trip yourself.
