Sounds like the IRGC really is torqued about that proposed Israel-Syrian peace deal.

No, this is the same one.

“Pan-Arab al-Hayat newspaper, quoting “well-informed” sources in London, said the officer had been found dead on Friday night-Saturday morning. It said the officer had been in charge of “sensitive files” and was close to the Syrian leadership.”

I wondered, it made it sound like he was killed in London.
I’m confused.

Join this info with report of another high Syrian general being assassinated by a sniper last week.

Coincidence?

BEIRUT // A senior military aide to Bashar Assad, the Syrian president, and reputed liaison between Damascus and Hizbollah, was reported yesterday to have been assassinated in Tartous on Syria’s Mediterranean coast.

Brig Gen Mohammed Suleiman was found shot dead in a hotel room in Tartous on Friday, according to reports in the London-based daily newspaper Al Hayat and the Albawaba news website.

No name of this guy in London. Any guesses as to who is taking out these people?

You aren’t confused, just overly optimistic, in a way. Two persons were killed, on in Tartous, Syria, and the other in (formerly) Great Britain. Two deaths of high-ranking military officials. Not a good recruiting ad.
