“meaning those that aren’t old enough to, or never have, made enough income to notice that their hard work is being punished in order to subsidize those who choose not to work.”

Never have. Times are tough in Ohio and most Dems I know (my entire extended family, among others) are not lawyers, doctors or businessmen/small business owners. As such, it is considered to be lucky if you are making $10-15 an hour. A union job is considered to be the way to go here, the only way you can get good benefits and a good hourly wage without having to go to college.

Allow me to give you an example: When the stimulus checks came out, I was with a group of about 20. When I said that I had friends who worked 14 hours a day six days a week and that they wouldn’t be getting a stimulus check and that didn’t seem to be fair, I was pounced on by everyone who said loudly at once:

“They don’t deserve it and we do!”

If a few of them had said it I would have shrugged it off, but the fact that they all said it as if it had been orchestrated bothered me greatly.

Anyway, that’s just how I see it where I am. Your mileage may vary.

That is the first time I’ve seen, “The One”.

Those pictures of Moses are hysterical.

I got my first godlike reality check with Obama when he said that Wright disrespected him. “He has disrespected me!”

Whoa. How dare Wright disrespect him!

.....they wouldn’t be getting a stimulus check and that didn’t seem to be fair....

It was not a stimulus check, it was a tax refund. The return of taxes paid was intended to give people mone back to stimulate the economy. There was not a free money situation .

It wasn’t a tax refund.
I didn’t get my taxes refunded.
I paid my taxes and 3 other goobers that paid no taxes got “stimulus” checks instead of me! I earn too much money and therefore Conress apparently feels I am not needed to stimulate the economy.
Let the goobers spend my tax money on bread and circuses, or soda pop and made-in-China junk at Walmart.
I’ve cut waaaaay back on spending and boosted way up in savings, because I don’t feel very stimulated to go along with Pelosi’s economic free ride. LOL!

I went to McCain’s web sight for the very first time today. The first thing I saw was “Country First.” Be still by beating heart. That is awesome.

I think McCain should use these responses against them. I think if he made an ad about how unhinged the left gets with simple and humorous pressure. They are the most fun to watch when they are losing control.

His opinion of himself is way, way too high.

I think that makes him uppity.

:-)
