As we all know, it is illegal for any U.S. candidate for federal office (and most state and local offices) to accept campaign contributions from foreign nationals. It is also illegal for any U.S. candidate for President to accept more than $2,300 per election cycle.

So, why has Barack Hussein Obama accepted over $24,000 from Monir and Hosam Edwan in Rafah, Gaza? And why is he lying about it by noting on his official filings with the Federal Election Commission that Rafah is in Georgia? Rafah is the HAMAS-controlled city on the border of Egypt and is the site of the Rafah gate.

Yes, I know in these pre-messiah days we still do not know what the Unity is. Obama does, he is The Bringer of The Unity. We, in our backsward, pre-Obama age still call it the "world".

Come January 2009, or rather, the month that will then be known as the month formerly-known as January, thereafter it will be called "Unity Month", and the remaining months will be renamed after each of the Obama's many names -- February will be "Barry", March will be "Dunham", etc ... the "world" will be Unified for the first time in all Eternity.

So yes, these donations are legitimate. All fellow "world" citizens -- that is citizens of The Unity -- must pay up.

So Obama has a buddy named Osama who is apparently a Palestinian (possibly an Egyptian) and who contributed pretty big bucks to his campaign, illegally and fraudulently, substituting Georgia (USA) for Gaza. If and when this gets out, it should help neutralize any boost he may have gotten from his photo-op brief trip to Israel last week.

I originally thought there might be. A google (note to self..get away from Google) search resulted in many links to a Rafah Refugee camp. Then I checked maps...no Rafah. Edwan is a common Palestinian name or so it seems. Monir and Hasam Edwan (I think there is an Osama as well, will check) COULD be American nationals (sure). I don't know how we can be sure of that. If I can find the FEC form filed (I'm working off the downloaded database) it may give more information.

Finding the forms on the FEC site has been more of a problem than searching the database. Gotta love that transparency in campaign donations! Thank you McCain-Feingold!

You do realize that there is no Rafah, Georgia. I am not sure of your point.

There is a Rafah Refugee camp in Gaza. In fact, on one of Monir Adwan's FEC receipts (this can be obtained on the FEC website) the address includes "Canada Camp". The receipt also does NOT spell out Georgia. It is a two character alpha code "GA".

It appears to me that the data provided to the FEC by the Obama campaign mischaracterized the GA code in the Adwan and Edwan receipts as Georgia, not Gaza.

This in turn was picked up on other donation reporting websites.

Great work! I did a Google search and found the following...this is hilarious:

Monir and Hasam Edwan denied their financial transactions online – listed as donations in U.S. government election filings – were actual donations to Obama's campaign. Instead they claimed they purchased about $30,000 in Obama T-shirts from the presidential candidate's online store – a contention that did not hold up during a WND interview, when they changed their story several times.

At first Monir Edwan claimed he sold the T-shirts in Gaza for around $9 and that a profit was made...

But it was pointed out to Edwan the T-shirts for sale on Obama's website are listed as $20.08 and that selling the merchandise for less would not yield a profit. "Maybe we sold the shirts for a lot more. I can't remember now," said Edwan.

Asked why he would purchase T-shirts at such a high rate and pay the cost of shipping when he could pay a company to produce T-shirts for less, Edwan replied, "We wanted the shirts to come from the campaign."

But Edwan could not explain how he managed to get shipments of T-shirts into the Gaza Strip during the months he claimed to have purchased the merchandise, since Israel imposed a tight closure of the Gaza Strip starting in June 2007 that lasted until June 2008, when the Israeli government agreed to a cease-fire with Hamas in Gaza.
