15 dead, 154 injured in Istanbul double bombing: TV
1 hour, 10 minutes ago
Two bombs exploded in Istanbul overnight, leaving at least 15 people dead and 154 others wounded, officials announced.
The first bomb created a small blast in a rubbish bin in the Gungoren neighbourhood on the western European bank of the Turkish city.
A second stronger explosion took place several minutes later a few metres (yards) away while a crowd began to gather at the site of the first blast, NTV reported.
The images broadcast by NTV showed scenes of panic, with people covered in blood and disoriented as they ran from the area of the blasts, littered with debris and shattered glass.
Teams of firefighters and emergency workers were dispatched to the scene and police established a security perimeter.
Local television stations had initially reported that the blasts were caused by a gas leak.

Must be those dastardly Christians responding to the recent desecration of a consecrated Host by that wacko college professor.

So India and Turkey (trending Muslim) are now under fire and the focus of activity by the bustards. It will be interesting to see how they will react. Will they adopt the Obamasiah’s magic talk about tearing down the walls that divide us, or the George Bush approach of sending the creeps to Allah?
India? Aren’t there about 20 hindus for each muslim there?
Ahhh yes, those walls of mistaken ideas that keep us from Utopia..
Obama tried to be so clever with his allusion to Reagan’s wall in Berlin. Now it’s walls of misunderstanding that separate us, eh Obama?
What a fool.
Too bad good Hindus are vegetarians. They could eat the Muslims, otherwise. Problems solved, Five Cents.

Curds? No Whey!!!
More like Islamic rage boy family reunion LOL!
AQ said they would start hitting Turkey after 07.
Why did Constantinople get the works...
I don't know the ratio in India, but it is Turkey that I meant as trending Muslim. I can only suspect that the attacks in India are meant to make trouble with Pakistan, but I don't know that.
But of course, that is all the Religion of Peace is doing, tearing down the walls . . . with bombs.
Could be the work of the Kurds too.

I pinged you a about two weeks or so ago with an article posted on one of the AntiMullah sections and about Fethullah Gulen (also antimullah weeks ago warning of the Turkish Khomeini type uprising in the offing in the very near future).
Sad in context, though gratifying, to have been one of the very first to bring Gulen to full view from his self-exile hiding place in Philadelphia.

The Turkish ruling party is Islamicist, and has been under scrutiny by the courts for violations of the Turkish constitution; it has also been conducting raids and arresting al-Qaeda members. But here’s the biggie:

All right, Little Miss Muffet.
If the Army doesn’t move as per the Constitution, the Constitution and secular Turkey are dead.
Hey, I always wondered but never dared try it...How ARE mudbugs, really? We have them around here. Some idiot thought he was doing me a favor and dumped some from a bait shop in my glodfish pond. Of course, they ate all the goldfish. I netted them all and fed them to the raccons that used to show up every night. They loved them.
Do they taste like prawns or shrimp?
The Grey wolves Kemalists are playing their dirty tricks again...probably with the help of the Islamofascists.

Thanks, FARS.
The ratio is less than 6 to 1. (850,000,000 Hindus, 150,000,000 Moslems, and Christians, Sikhs, and Buddhists comprise the rest).
Not sure what you mean by that- Turkey is 99%+ Muslim.
Do you mean trending towards the more radical strains of Islam? Maybe, but keep in mind there has been an ongoing Kurdish terrorist movement in Turkey for decades, and the main Kurdish terrorist groups aren't very religious- they're mostly communist.
In any event, the Turks are very good at anti-terrorism operations.
Not surprising since I was not very clear. What I meant was that the government, rather than remaining strictly secular, appears that it may be trending toward a more Islamic way of governance.
I fear you may be right.
I don't know what a prawn is, but yes they are like a fat shrimp and normally cooked like crab or lobster, live.
The best way is to get about 10 lbs, live, put them in a cooler of warm salty water. This is called "purging". It cleans them out so you don't have the "vein" (dirty digestive tract like shrimp.) This is not necessary, but for those of us with squeamish women folk, worth it. Then dump into seasoned boiling water like crab until they turn red. Best served with boiled corn, potatoes and beer. PS, like crab, those pincher's, can!
If the things were not so ugly I would have tried them by now, but I suppsoe they are no worse to look at than a lobster or a shrimp. It is just that I have seen too many of their bad habits in the wild. Once, all of them picked on another one, and he had no arms and legs..then they ate him. Ugh. Talk about bad manners.
Thanks for the ping!
Turks and their comrades throw around the term secular but Turks are anything but. There is no significance to the word secular when 99.999% of them are muslims and a Turk converting to Christianity can be murdered as has happened many times.
The original and legal inhabitants of Asia Minor - the Christians - are all dead in genocides against them.
