Yup Black radio will help get out the Black vote. Of course Blacks already vote at a higher rate than Whites and having EVERY Black vote did not get stevenson or mcgovern elected, carter relected, mondull elected, dukakis elected, clinocchio more than 49%, algore elected or frenchie elected. Blacks will have to be bussed all around the country so they can vote eight times and have a genuine effect on the race. The REAL race is for the 43% of voters who are WHITE MALES, but the ratmedia NEVER wants to talk about us.
Denouncing corporations of every stripe as enviro-killing slave-drivers is the left's stock in trade.
But what drives radio? Corporations that PAY to advertise on the radio stations..!
What credit-worthy corporation --aside from maybe Ben & Jerry's-- wants to be the prominent corporate name that follows 10 straight minutes of obscenity-filled, conspiratorial, discombobulated, anti-corporate screaming?
Usually the reason that right-wingers prefer to explain why lefty radio always bites the dust is, "We right-wingers THINK, but the left just FEELS, and radio requires THINKING".
Comforting words to us, sure, but they make for a misleading canard.
Nope! It's MONEY.
